Does Pocahontas ever appear in Epcot? There are only two princesses my DD has yet to met, and she's one of them. We're going to the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot in October, and I'm wondering if we'll have a chance to meet her there (we're not going to any of the other parks this trip).

Thanks!

This is what I found on Steve Soares' entertainment schedule...
RAFIKI'S PLANET WATCH
CONSERVATION STATION

DISNEY CHARACTERS
Meet some of our Disney friends at Rafiki's Planet Watch
10:15am-1:00pm & 2:15pm-6:00pm

Pocahontas appearing from 10:45am-11:35am, 12:00pm-1:05pm, 2:45pm-3:50pm & 4:15pm-5:05pm

I only remember seeing Pocahontas at Epcot once, ages ago.
She was at the International Gateway, oddly enough, with Sleeping Beauty.

You can check here before you go, this schedule is only good for this week.

When you arrive at Epcot, stop in at Guest Services. Pass SSE on the left side and you'll see it on the left. Ask them if there will be any appearances of Pocahontas that day in Epcot. You never know! ;)

The only places I have seen her reported at the character finder for months are Rafiki's Planet Watch (Animal Kingdom) and the Animatio Building (Hollywood Studios).

The only guaranteed spot to meet her is RPW, however - the AB is more of a random meet and greet (though she has been in rotation this spring and summer).

Oh gosh, that's a great resource! Thanks!
Here's her page...

I have seen Pocahontas at the American Adventure, but it was several years ago. Best bet is Rafiki's Planet Watch/Conservation Station in AK. Bonus: kids get to play with the animals out there. It might sound lame, but my kids always get a huge kick out of that.

Thanks, everyone!!

Rats, we were just in AK and didn't go to Rafiki's Planet Watch. Oh well, maybe we'll get some Disney Magic and she'll want to partake at the F&WF!

the DHS thing is totally random day to day.

at DAK, she's at conservation station daily (along with jiminy cricket and rafiki) and also hosts a story time/meet & greet at the good times gathering spot which is running until august right now.

Must admit she is a tough one to track down. Out last summer trip we caught her show (which I think is now gone) and the girl they had looks just like her with what appeared to be real hair. Sadly we never got her signature in the autograph book so along with Tinkerbelle and friends it's a mission this summer :)

Pocahontas was our "missing princess" for a long time. We finally hunted her down at Rafiki Planet Watch in 2007. My daughter wore this costume all day while we were looking, and we finally found her right before closing.

Which other princess are you missing?

Down to Pocahontas and Tinkerbelle & friends. We have 2 or 3 books full with just about everyone else so they are a nice keepsake for them to remember our trips.

So for anyone standing in the heat this summer and asking themselves why am I waiting all this time for a photo and autograph - it's worth it! :)

But at least the wait for Pixie Hollow is air conditioned!

We also found her at Rafiki Planet Watch. She's was and still is DD15 favorite.

DD just rode Kali 4 times in a row before we went to Conservation Stattion, that is why she is all wet.

The other princess is Ariel. But that's only b/c I've been the "mean mom" :rotfl::rotfl: who talked DD out of waiting in a 60 minute line in the middle of the summer to meet her. I confess, I am using the "we'll meet her next time" as an excuse to convince DH that it's time to go back... "but we still have to meet Ariel, honey... you don't want to disappoint DD, do you?":laughing::laughing:

Have you tried to get ADR's at Akershus while you are in Epcot? She is often there in her legs and green gown....

And I do understand about that line in the MK. You almost have to do that first thing or give up for the day.........

We've seen Ariel there at lunch. She was lovely.
Yeah, sitting in A/C, eating lunch is soooo much nicer than standing in the heat for an hour, but, it would be nice to get a picture of her with her tail.

One more tip on Pocohontas at RPW, I would do this fairly early. I believe this past April we went there and she was wrapping up her last available time that day and it was only 2:00 in the afternoon or something like that. If you're going to do this then I would do it early in the day if it means that much to you.

Also...the building where you meet her at RPW is air conditioned. :thumbsup2

Yes, if you have not yet been to visit Ariel on her rock, you really should sometime. I highly recommend being there when she arrives. On our last trip, she arrived at 10, so we were in line at 9:45. We got right back. When we came out around10:10, the line was almost an hour long......

This must have been a random appearance then because we found her at Camp Minnie Mickey in AK. Late afternoon at same time as the parade in May:
