We booked our 2/26/05 western cruise through Expedia before finding this web board. After reading several previous posts, I discovered Allseastravel.com. After looking at their website, I see that I can get the same cruise and category for much less $$$ than I paid through Expedia. Is there any way to remedy this situation and change the reservation over, even though we've paid in full to Expedia by now? Just curious as to whether or not anyone else has experienced/ done this before. Thank you for any advice!!

It depends on what their refund policy is. I just had that happen a couple of weeks ago. I was actually with allseason travel and found a cheaper rate with Dreams Unlimited. I called them and told them I needed to cancel my reservation and they matched the price. They were very nice about it. It was no problem, certainally worth a phone call.

I would call and ask, you have nothing to lose. If you don't try you'll always "wonder", and you won't have as good a time on your trip, because in the back of your mind you'll be saying.....I overpaid, I overpaid.....

You could always ask if Expedia has a "low price guarantee". Perhaps they would match the competetor's price. Can't hurt to ask!

With final payment already made, you probably are out of luck.
