Financial Magazines

[can'twait]

I always thought they were for people with money looking for investment advice, but the other day I read a copy of MONEY magazine and was impressed. It had lots of basic Dave Ramsey style advice. I was thinking that some advice and something to keep me on my toes once a month in my mail box might be a good idea.

Does anyone subscribe to MONEY or any other financial magazine that they would recommend?

I would like to only subscribe to one.

We got Kiplinger's Personal Finance for many years, and I really liked it. But I got an offer for Money magazine that was too good to pass up...$10/year for 3 years. I find Money to be fairly helpful, even though we're not big investors.

I just purchased a 3 year subscription to Kiplinger's Personal Finance on Ebay for $6.69 and I get 2 other magazines free (not a good selection for me, so I may skip them)!

I subscribe to both Money and Kiplinger's, as well as Consumer Reports.

I get Money and Kiplinger, as well as a few others. If I had to pick just one, I think Money is the way to go. Very reasonable, easy to understand. Good whether you are a beginner or a seasoned investor.

I like SmartMoney magazine. It has lots of good articles and it's very well-written and easy to understand.

Just wanted to add that one of the Money staffers, Jean Chatzky, has written several personal finance books that are excellent. You can find them at your library or book store. They don't get the attention that Suze Orman or Dave Ramsey get, but they are just as good.

Yes, I've seen her on ABC shows. I was happy to see her in MONEY. Maybe I will check her out at the library soon.
