Finally!!! We got a dream gift!

We've been sending postcards for I don't know how long, and we finally got the postcard in our mailbox yesterday to pick up our Disney dream team gift! We were so excited, that we called the post office to see how late they'd be open. Within fifteen minutes, we were at the post office to pick up our boxes, and we got the coveted YOAMD ears for each of us. We were disappointed that they didn't include lanyards too, since so many people here have gotten both at the same time, and the ears are from DL when we go to WDW, but heck, we got a dream gift and they are a YOAMD special ears, so we're still super thrilled!

I was glad, because we leave for WDW in 87 days (No, we aren't counting! ), and we were hoping to get something before we left. Also, I am running low on my postcards supply and my DH had said we would stop once we finished them, so at least all my efforts were worth it.

After mailing postcards since April (some of them mailed from Disneyland), I received a pair of ears yesterday.

Mine were from Disney World. I've never been to Disney World (since I live about an hour from DLR). Maybe we should trade.

In any case, I'm happy to have won anything. I'm planning my first trip to WDW in spring 2009 so maybe I can wear them then.

Too funny!!! You would think they would look to see what part of the country you are from, to help them figure out which park's ears to send. I can see it being difficult for certain states, but you and I are both live on the coasts!

It's nice to win anything. We may not bring our ears to our trip in 87 days, because it'll be Christmas time, and we want to wear Mickey Santa hats, but their an awesome souvenir!
