My trip in July allowed me to finally say that I have visited every attraction in WDW. My last visit was 2013, so I had not seen the new Fantasy Land completed.

I was able to try the Enchanted Tales with Belle - and although I was a little underwhelmed by the meet and greet piece, I loved the details and the theming. It sure works well with the Be Our Guest Restaurant and Gaston Tavern Area. I heard Imagineer Tony Baxter say that he wished that the Be Our Guest could have had a Dinner Show. That would have been interesting.

The Little Mermaid Line Queue - :teleport: As much effort as they put in to it, I think it should count. It was quite lovely and creative. I have whined enough about the lack of Scuttle actually talking to me. So I will let it go.

The Seven Dwarf Mine Train... Hmmmmmm. Its not a dark ride like I expected (that one mine scene doesn't really qualify) and its not a coaster (that one mine scene kind of ruins it). I don't know what it is. It looks nice. Actually I like the following much better (and I am not being sarcastic or snarky)...

The Barnstormer! I had never rode this ride. But it is simple and funny and has a workable story. We rode it at 11:00 at night with no lines. I got the front seat. The propeller was spinning, and I felt like I was in a plane with Goofy crashing into barns! We could ride it multiple times in a row if we wanted, and my family did. I think it was more fun than the Mine Train.

So now that I have rode and visited them all...I would rank my top five rides/attractions as follows:

1. Splash Mountain - they nailed the story and the thrills
2. Haunted Mansion - The Classic Dark Ride (I still remember the horror of it all as a 5 year old! in 1973)
3. Tower of Terror - Great detail. Excellent Story. Unpredictable Ride Experience.
4. Peter Pan - I just can't get enough of that suspended ride vehicle. I wish they would do more like that.
5. Toy Story Midway Mania - That game is addicting. (Everest misses the cut because, I miss the moving Yeti).
Bonus. My favorite show is It's Tough to be a Bug. I love that tree and the art work. I love the jokes and bugs leaving the theater, and the way the kids scream when Hopper starts yelling.

Disneyland has ruined the WDW Pirates of the Caribbean Ride for me. I can no longer include it on my list.

***disclaimer*** I have not seen all the meet and greets. Although I did go in the wrong way at Little Mermaid and found her surprisingly.

I bet it didn't take everyone else 42 years to experience it all!!!!!!!

Splash Mountain has definitely has to be my favorite and then Everest. Wish I could say I've done everything!

We've ridden them all except for the Dwarf mine train. I would say our top 5 are:

1. Kilomonjaro Safari- AK
2. Soarin- Epcot
3. Star Tours- HS
4. Everest- AK
5. Spaceship Earth- Epcto

Just realized none of my favs are at MK, crazy...

I have been going to Disneyland/WDW for 40 years and I still am far from having done everything. We are moving to Orlando in 2 years and my goal will be to do it all.

Haven't been there since the FL expansion, and coming up with just 5 is REALLY hard, but if I could do ONLY five attractions, they'd be...
1. Soarin
2. Space Mountain
3. Splash Mountain
4. Tower of Terror
5. (cheating!!) Haunted Mansion and Peter Pan

That is a nice mixture of thrill rides, simulators, safaris, and dark rides. The MOST BALANCED LIST EVER! :)

DW's is Soarin and mine even though a old one is still Space Mountain.

I loved it when I was younger. But the Matterhorn and Space Mountain hurt me too much now with all the jerking. I haven't been on Space Mountain in years. I rode the Matterhorn for the first time last month (with the Yetis!).

We finally got in some of the NFL rides too, so I can also say I've been on them all.

While I do like the Barnstormer, I felt like it was way to short. I mean really short. The theme though was outstanding! As I was standing in queue, I took in all the special Disney stuff that sets a ride like that head and shoulders above any similar ride you might find in another amusement park. Let's face it, the coaster is really pretty simple and not that special. But when you start looking around and see targets all over the place with Goofy-sized holes in them... and then finally spot the cannon and the rocket buried in the hillside (still smoking, no less!); well, you can't help but smile. The artwork is spectacular. Flying through all of the signs brings home the fun.

I'm a big Goofy fan, so I had to give that one thumbs-up.

For some of these very same reasons, I don't understand the hate I see people express towards 7DMT. The theme is spectacular, there are great effects, and it's altogether better than that fear-factory they used to call Snow White's Scary Adventures. Man, that place gave me nightmares for years when I was a kid! Anyhow, people really shouldn't knock 7DMT for being short (Barstormer is way shorter) or lacking big thrills (it's not supposed to be that kind of ride). And the rocking mine cars are really quite fun! I was prepared to hate it based on the internet, but ended up loving it.

ETWB has some really eye-popping effects. I have mixed feelings on the rudimentary play inside that beautifully realized attraction (cardboard cutouts??), but there's nothing else like it and the kids (and consequently the parents) all seemed to be having a terrific time. Belle couldn't have been nicer and it was a highlight for the kids (me too!)

I enjoyed reading your thoughtful analysis.

I sure don't have any interest in starting a debate. But I had a difficult time finding the story in 7DMT.
I used a FP so I missed any of the clues in the queue.

Load up in a mine car.
Take off on a short ride (I don't know why)
Go through the Dig Dig Dig slow mining scene
End up at the Cottage with everyone dancing and the Queen outside with the apple ready to knock on the door.

It just doesn't make sense to end there. I think the dwarves might have just beat her up right then. There wasn't any drama or climax. The climax was right about when the car slows down to go through the mine.

I really love those rides with the story. I'm not sure, but if you cut out the slow mine scene, the ride might not be much longer than the barnstormer.

It is kind of like Little Mermaid - Ursula is made irrelevant in ride and the big boat climax scene is missing.

Love these lists! I love so many of the attractions.
In no particular order, these are the 5 that I ride multiple times per trip. So I guess that makes them my favorites! I almost included HM and/or EE, but I'm satisfied with those once per trip.

Oh great I just changed one of our FP's to Space now I'm rethinking it because I don't want our necks or backs hurt :( I rode it a long time ago and I do remember it being jerky but we didnt get hurt lol.

My favorites are....
TOT (love the whole atmosphere for the build up to the ride)
Splash (this ride is over 10 minutes long)!
Soarin (amazing scenery & smells)
Haunted Mansion (spooky giggly fun and ice cold air conditioning during summer)
Kilimanjaro Safaris (animal lover)
