wow - amazing!!! I was a bit concerned about the excessive use of castle projections and wondered if that would restrict views from elsewhere. But those giant lights they are using look STUNNING from a distance! Since I actually like the Magic, Memories and You projection show even more than Wishes - adding fantastic projections to the fireworks is a massive win-win for me. Plus my teens will appreciate the update in music.

Loved the preview...looking forward to viewing the new show on May 30th!

Thanks for sharing this video. I love Wishes, but this looks like it will be an amazing replacement. :)

I don't know. As a parent, something about the kid singing wishes gets me teary eyed every time. And when my daughter starts singing "Starlight, starbright..." There is something pure and beautiful and magical about it. That song and show fully captured childhood for me, and it will be hard for them to replicate that.

I like the castle projections, and the song is nice and upbeat, but it just doesn't have that same feel of nostalgia.

I was half asleep a couple of days ago and heard fireworks going off at 12-1am,I assumed it was Happily Ever After testing,if I wasn't in sleep mode I would have stepped outside to see if I could see something.Yesterday however I saw that someone did get a video of the testing as I saw a video on YouTube apparently from one of the apartments just behind MK.The video definitely showed some unique fireworks not used in the past.If the fireworks are a wow,the projections and lasers are a wow I won't be too upset about Wishes going away,I agree about the music and lyrics, they're not bad but I prefer Wishes, maybe they'll grow on me but as of now the song on the preview is not an upgrade.

From watching the video, I think we are trading a little sentimental value for much better technology. I don't see myself closing my eyes and feeling those same emotions, however, it looks amazing and am looking forward to seeing the new show.

I'll be there the 11th and 12th (squeezed in wherever I can find a spot) and the 13th at the Garden dessert party. Legitimately cannot wait until then. Thanks for posting that link!!!

I have a garden dessert party reservation on the 13th too!

Visually I really like it. The music seems cheesy and poppy (in a bad way) to me, and I feel like it sounds dated? But with the added chorus I liked it much better. Hopefully there is a lot of that.

That looks amazing! I'll be there on the 11th for the last Wishes, now debating whether I want to go to the first Happily Ever After on the 12th. Hmm
Are you kidding? (This is the Internet it's hard to tell). Heck Freaking YES!!! How could you be that close and NOT stay for the 12th? You would have to drag me way in irons if I was within a days drive on the 11th or 12th.
