We are going to Disney from June 19-25th..Not the cheapest time to find accomadations:lmao:
We are a family of5 on one income so we try to do "budget".. I booked at Comfort Inn LBV..I wanted to stay in this area. We have been to Disney many times, and try a lot of budget places, but never stayed in this area. I like being close to DTD...I am totally addicted to that big old Disney store. I swear I can get lost in there for hours...;)
I have read some not so great reviews on this place, but that is ok.When you do budget that is what happens. Some reviews I read are AOK, others are not.
I used the Magiccard rate and booked the family suite. Since they were going to charge 13$ a day for a rollaway, I figured might as go with the suite.
We have left over park hopper passes from 3 yrs ago, and we also bought those Universal $85 passes as well...So we are all set..Now come on June. My son doesnt like to miss school anymore(Hes 12), said too much work to make up. Honestly, I hate when they have to bring school work on vacation. So it works out ok. I know it will be hot and crowded, but we have been to Disney many, many times.
My youngest will still be 2 when we go. I figured might as well go this year while she is still free??:thumbsup2
They are still free under the age of 3 right???
Now I just need to get healthy, exercise more, and lose a little weight before then, and I will be ready to go;)

That is so great!!! I know you will have a great time!!!
Keep us posted on your trip and don't forget to write a trip report when you get back!:goodvibes :cool1:

Sounds like you will have a wonderful time!!!!

If you don't mind me asking, what are you paying at the Comfort Inn LBV? We are also a family of 5 and I'm always on the lookout for a deal.

Have an awesome time!

I dont mind you asking. If you go to the magicard website they give you their prices for their discounted hotels. I think the family suite was $69. Im sure I could of found a better deal. We were going to go with the regular room, ($49)then I found out a rollaway wa 13$ a night. Well that was no savings. My 2 1/2 yr old is out of a crib now. These regular rooms only had double beds. I didnt think they would be big enough for my 2 1/2 yr old to sleep with me and my husband. Well I should say , not big enough for us to be comfortable. At home we have a King, and some nights my little one wakes up and sleeps with us and we have enough room..In the family suite there is one queen and 3 single beds, and 2 tvs. We picked this place, first because of location, 2nd we always get a room with a mini fridge and micorwave(Saves us money on meals),plus having 2 tvs would be helpful for the kids. They have a free cont breakfast, though many say its not a big deal. For the kids it should be fine, but we always keep fruit and yogurt in the room for breakfast as well.

I booked Comfort Inn LBV as a back up ressie for our upcoming Easter trip. I'm still hoping to get a resort via Priceline for that time period. If we end up staying here--I will let you know how it is when we return.

That sounds like a great price. Thank you for sharing it! There are so many resorts in the Disney area that it is always nice to know where the "deals" are. We usually budget about $100 a night (inc. taxes) and have always been able to find something very nice for that. $69 a night sounds even better.

Have a great trip.

I have read bad and good reviews on this hotel. I know its an older hotel, and people have complained that it is noisey due to interstate being close by.So we shall see. I figure how bad could it be???:confused3
