Yeah, my colors don't look that vibrant out of the camera. Curious if I'm just a bad photographer (I know I'm not a good one), or if there is some post work done to really bring out the color. The castle picture is particularly striking to me (we can all compare to a castle picture we've taken).
can't answer for op naturallly but i have read a few articles that have said digital usually need a little sharpening( like in the adjust sharpness in pse5, 20% and radius of 60)and a little boost in saturation just due to digital not being as sharp as film..that would probably depend on you camera( ie a p&s probably needs more help than a $10,000 body and lens
