I think I finally have our trip planned. This is the 1st trip for me, dh, dd8, dd6, ds4, and ds3 (boys will be 38" at time of trip). I have spent too much time reading forums, reviews, and guidebooks and I need to be done planning :) unless there are any major changes at Disney. We are going the 3rd full week of October.

Sat: Arrive, check in to off-site rental home near Disney

Sun: Water park or Lake Toho airboat tour in morning.
Check into AoA early afternoon. Booked a 1 night stay to get benefit of BOG FP+, 60 day FP reservations, etc. Plan on spending several hours after check-in enjoying the pools at the resort. After pool, couple hours at DTD and then 8:10 reservation at Chef Mickey's

Mon: Epcot day. 8:05 Akershus breakfast. Planning on splitting our FP into two groups of 3. 3 for Soarin (mom rides with girls) and 3 for TT (dad rides with girls) What should I use other FP for (want them to be rides boys can enjoy since we're using their tier 1 fp)?

Tues: Magic Kingdom day 1 (party day, closes at 7)
Hopefully FP for Mine Train, PP, and ETWB
BOG lunch

Wed: Mk day 2 (dad enjoys pool at rental house with boys) Girls go to MK.
This will be the only day we split up so big kids can enjoy the headliners. This day is looking like it will have moderate (5ish crowds)

8:10 CRT breakfast
FP+ for A&E (hopefully) Space, and MSEP
5:00 BOG dinner

planning to do RD for other headliners (BTMRR, Splash, etc.) and stay for MSEP and wishes.

TH
sleep in
Go to MK for MNSSHP at 4pm

Then we have Friday completely off. We will be in FL a few more days to enjoy Discovery Cove and some beach time so TH is our last Disney day.

Thoughts?? Any tips for MNSSHP? Where should we eat in Epcot for lunch/dinner? Thanks!!

Okay, so you are only visiting MK and EP?

On your EP day, I'd use FP for Spaceship Earth and Maelstrom or Turtle Talk with Crush. Not to be missed!! Not sure of the height requirement on Maelstrom, however.

I'd also spend time in World Showcase doing the Kidcot stations. EPCOT has many wonderful restaurants. If you are doing QS, I recommend Sunshine Seasons in the Land building. We also like to snack around the world, esp. during Food and Wine. If you want to sit down, Biergarten is a lot of fun for kids. The band plays and kids can dance and be silly on the floor.

On your 2nd MK day, I personally would not use FP for MSEP. It will limit you on getting to the headliners. I'd choose Big Thunder or Splash instead.

Lastly, if you have park tix on Thursday, I'd definitely spend a few hours at Animal Kingdom. You can do a lot in a few hours and still rest up for MNSSHP.

It might be fun to just resort hop on Friday, or even Thursday. Kids love the monorail and the big ferry from TTC to MK. Or, Fort Wilderness has a lot of fun activities.

It looks like a really fun trip and you have balanced the needs of the little guys with those of the big girls. Relax and have fun!!
