Only to be informed it wasn’t confirmed. (Officially maybe?)

A lot can happen between now and October. (I agree with this)

And if Disney wish to move us anywhere else; they will contact us.
(Not so sure on this statement)

We do not need to contact them!

So there you go;
My question is-what would you do now?

Just sit back and wait?

I suppose we can’t be downgraded 🤣

I would call back. Maybe not today, but definitely by the middle of July. I've read many posts of CMs giving different answers and guests being allowed to switch to Pop in the fall.

It depends on what you want. If you want the All Stars, I would wait as long as possible. If you would like Pop, I would wait a week till things calm down a bit and would call again. Different CMs seem to have different answers.

I’m aware of folks being moved in November from all stars -therefore I’m guessing disney is indeed keeping all stars closed.

When we booked, I was quite happy with all stars.
If it’s not open though; I’d like to know we have a room at a resort together (2 bookings).
Whether it’s pop or wherever.

Disney just sent out communications to guests staying in WDW resorts through September 30. I assume you will be in the next batch of communications that go out if your stay is in October. If you would like them to move you now, you can call back and ask, but be prepared to pay any price difference. Otherwise, I would either wait for an e-mail or call them back about 5 - 6 weeks prior to arrival to tell them if you would like to cancel, modify or confirm your dates.

Where is information posted regarding notification dates? We have AKL CL booked for early December and I am on the fence about calling now to change resorts or wait until Disney notifies us of the closure. I am concerned about not receiving notifications.

I have a September 18 trip booked at Sports and still nothing and no emails. I got thru the other day and was pretty much told I would be cancelled if my resort is closed or I need to figure out something on my own. He mentioned the email and when I said I never received any emails about anything I was told that maybe they didn't get to my name yet. It's so frustrating!

We had reservations at ASMu arriving Aug 30. I called Thursday and was able to move to Pop for the same price. Honestly if it doesn’t as me I’d change while there is availability, otherwise you might get stuck with the option of not going or going and paying more to stay at a moderate.

I was really hoping that they would keep all the values closed and we’d get upgraded lol.

We have ASMu for Nov 16-21. Is it too early to call, should I still wait and see?

Call ASAP unless you’re really wanting to stay at All Stars. I called guest services directly last Thursday and moved 3 rooms from Sports to Pop without any issues, same price. Good luck!

I was moved from ASMo to Pop with price protection Sep 20-22 AND next Feb 28-Mar 6. I call it an upgrade with Skyliner. If you wait and they decide to open All Stars, you will not be able to move with no extra $.

I was able to move from ASMusic to Pop for Nov 16-21 with only $100 difference in price! Was very worried when the CM I chatted with said that as far as things looked now, ASMusic is not on the schedule to be opened by then and I didn't want to take the chance that Id be cancelled instead of moved.
