Finally figured out what I want to do

First of all, thank all of you so much for helping me the last couple of days on where to stay and other WDW things. After looking at my budget and what I wanted to do, I have decided to either stay at either Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort or Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort with the basic dream maker package. They main reason, is that most of the stuff that was offered in silver package wasn't anything that I would want to do. Also, going alone, I have been told that these two places are great for someone who is staying by themselves. All I am waiting for now, is for Dream Unlimted and Your Major Journeys to get back to me on there package proposals. I already now that going through WDW it will cost 2068, but I think that these two places can beat that.

Next on my list is airfare, which I will start looking at strongly the next couple of weeks or so. I would like to fly Southwest, but they don't have the December routes out yet, only up to September.

This is where I need everyones help. Where would be the best places to check and when for good airfare from Chicago (Ohare or Midway) to Orlando. This information would really help.

Sounds like a great plan to me! I will be staying at POFQ for a night before my wedding in December, and the pictures of it really won me over. It looks like a super well-themed resort with lots of ambience. Enjoy!

As for airfare, you are right to wait for Southwest to open their schedule. Remember, it is usually cheaper to fly on Tues, Wed, or Sat.

I also think ATA sometimes has decent fares out of MDW. And maybe Spirit?
