FINALLY COMPLETE! 10/3/2010- But Why is the Rum Gone? Disneyween 2007

Very cool that everything is working out on the Disney front for you. I hope that is a good sign for things on the job front as well!

My Magical Express papers arrived this week, so I think it's just the waiting game for me until 10/28. I don't mind, as the last 30 days always seem to go fast.

There was also news that the FW Segway tour is now permanent so I booked that tour for 10/30. I can't wait to tear around FW/WL on an offroadin' Segway.

Awesome! Have we heard re Kellylou yet?

Hooray!!! I'm so glad your resort semi-crisis is over! That certainly is banana-worthy

Question: What the heck is going on at WDW on Oct 26? I called up CRO today to change my All Star Sports reservation to CBR, but AS Sp was the ONLY resort available! AT ALL! Isn't the end of October supposed to be fairly low on crowds? Who is stealing all my rooms??

In better news, I got a message from Kelly that she will find out this weekend if she can go or not! Keep your fingers crossed!

Crystal, you are the Queen of Resort Changes! princess: I'm happy you got the BCV & OKW rentals. Don't give up on switching to CBR - just keep calling and checking. Something will open up! pixiedust:

I hope you are feeling better. I really should go back into the doctor for my sinuses, too - but after reading about your doctor's appt - I'll just stay stuffy! No needles up the nose for me!!! :scared:

I hope Kelly gets to go on vacation with you! :goodvibes

Hey I just finished reading you PTR:surfweb: and I'm loving it. I will be there from the 23rd-29th. It will be 14 adults and today 4 more people wanted to:scared1: attend but we have no more room for them. I tried booking a room for them at one of the disney resort but no luck, almost everything is booked and the ones that are not are toooooo expensive :sad2: Is there something going on that we dont know about. Well I guess they have to stay off site. Any who I can't wait to hear more about your trip.

I can't figure out what's going on with the resorts, either! We picked these dates because they're supposed to be fairly quiet crowds-wise, so why is every single resort sold out?? There's got to be some kind of convention going on, or something! That, or Disney needs to get on the ball and build more rooms!

After reading about your struggles to find a room, I'm getting nervous. I'll be so sad if it super crowded when we're there!

Agreed! I just can't figure it out! I know there's MNSSHP, and F&W, and the TOT marathon, but *still*! Every single room? Hey Disney, it may be time to build a new resort! (Pop Century Legendary Years, anyone?)

 :dance3: :cool1: party: :dancer: YAY! I'm so excited for you! And more than a little jealous ;)

That was quite the dance! :)

I just got back today from a quick WDW trip.
I went to the Adventurers Club for the first time while I was there and let me tell you this....

I LOVED IT. I can't believe that I had never been.
Small snafu with the tix, you need the expensive ticket, but we got it all straight and it was soooo much fun.

But I do have one question, who is the guy in the suit/tux that introduces the people.

Make that two, is there more than one show per night. Like if we stayed there and watched one show, if we hung out longer would there be a different one later?

HOORAY! You're converted! ;)

The guy in the suit is Graves, the butler.

And yep, there are different shows all night long. In the Library, where they have the big shows, I know they do the welcome show, the Radiothon, the Balderdash Cup, Samantha's Cabaret, and the Hoopla (Hoopla!), and maybe some others. And then either Hathaway or the Maid usually does a small show in the Mask Room, and Fletcher does one in the Treasure Room. And there are at least 2 New Member Inductions per night.

Whew! I think I wore myself out just typing all that! ;)

Did you take any pics there?

Yesterday, I decided to try to make the time go faster by digging out my old vacation videos. Fun!

First of all, I am hereby forbidden from video taping Illuminations for at least the next decade! I have SO many Illuminations videos! I have it from the future world side of the lagoon, from the UK, from the 9th floor of the Swan, with the special Christmas ending, as seen from BCV, etc! Enough already! Yeesh!

I did find a few great parts that I forgot about though, so I'm planning to upload them to YouTube. I've got one done so far!

In my last trip report, I talked about getting to see a tiger exam at the vet office at Conservation Station. I uploaded a short clip of that, which you can see by clicking here

Hey Crystal!

I love that I'm writing this as if you actually know who I am. Anyway, I just decided to head up to Orlando on Oct. 27-28 to visit a friend...we're doing Epcot on Saturday for a friend's birthday and staying at Saratoga Saturday night. I'll have to go back and check out your itinerary and see where you'll be!

Speaking of your last TR, I actually re-read the entire thing two nights ago. My favorite part was the fact that you practically LIVED on Zebra Domes while at AKL. :lmao:

We should be at Epcot on the 27th, and then 28th at MNSSHP. Not sure about the first half of the 28th yet!

Zebra Domes- breakfast of champions! :rotfl2:

Someone in my group got a couple pics, Graves was sitting in the middle of us girls. One pic he has his head on my shoulder, and the other pic he is leaning back in the middle of us all. He is way cute! He (the one playing him that night, don't know if his role changes, I assume it does) reminded me of Mark Cuban though.
