Given that Pirates 3 is premiering tonight (although neither Katie nor I are getting to go on opening night- haven't heard from Kelly on the subject yet!), I thought I'd post something pirate-related!
MNSSHP tickets went on sale back on May 1st, and of course I called on that very day to get mine! I also ordered one for Kelly to send as a graduation present, so I wanted to wait until she got it before I posted about it here, just in case she happened to come read about it before she recieved it!
There was something funny about calling for the tickets- You know how they confirm your address every time you call, confirm your e-mail, and then say something like "And your last trip here was in January, 2007?" Well, this time, when the CM got to that part, he cracked up. Turns out that the computer was showing that my last visit was in....
... October, 1971! I am apparently such a Disney fan that I was at Opening Day, even though I wasn't born yet!

Beat that, Disney Tattoo Guy!
The tickets arrived about a week later, and they have basically the same designs on them that all tickets have right now. I had been somewhat hoping for something Halloweeny, but at least they're the hard plastic kind! I still don't quite understand why tickets made to be used once are the plastic credit card type, but Annual Passes are the paper kind!
Now that I had the tickets in my greedy little hands, it was time to send one off to Kellylou!
Also included in the package: A fun Disneyween list of things to do I typed up at work one day (14 pages! Yeesh!), some spare park maps I had laying around, and a radish growing kit.
Kelly likes radishes.
I also hear that the Yeti chose to send her his own kind of congratulations:
Oh, Yeti, you're a good guy! Can't wait to come see you!
