I am very excited about a Haunted Mansion gift shop! Has ALWAYS been one of my favorite things to do at Disney. We'll be there 9/16-9/30 and I'm afraid I will be missing the opening of the shop. And THAT makes me sad

Yes! We were just there last week, rode Haunted Mansion twice, and the ghosts were quite active in our doom buggies!

Ya know, Disney is for everyone. Listen to Walt's speech at the opening of Disneyland. Kids get better photo ops at M&G than solo adults do.

We were there last October and the ghosts worked. We rode four different times and they tried to catch a ride every time

I really love this news. Some of the new merchandise looks really fabulous. Now I wish there was a Jungle Cruise/Tiki Room gift shop but I think that is unlikely.

YES!
Yankee trader is cute and all, but it's mainly kitchen stuff & candy, which you can find it so many other stores!

I've seen some of the HM stuff, and I've always wondered why they don't have that store carrying hm stuff, so I'm very excited!

I was looking forward to it but then I saw it doesn't open until after my trip is over.

Now I'll have to wait until the next trip to see it.

I am hoping some of the merchandise will be available someplace else in the park so I can spend my money on some cool HM merchandise.

I was SO excited when I heard this news!! with this and the announcement of all that awesome new Mansion merchandise, I'm sure its going to be amazing. and like a previous poster said, I'm hoping they keep some of those D&B bags in stock...I've been eyeing it for ages now
