Final season of ER - Dr Ross to make a guest appearance!!

If you mean Halay she had gastic bypass and has lost a ton of weight in real life.

She did not have gastric bypass. She actually went on a liquid fast diet and lost all the weight. She was very open about it when she slimmed down. But it was a diet, not surgical weight loss.

Any thoughts on last night's episode? I loved Archie and the chief stuck at the conference. When she got up when she was drunk and started telling jokes and singing, I just about lost it.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Alex, and see what will happen between Sam and Gates.

I guess the Jerry question has been answered, they showed him in the previews for next week:banana:

I thinl Alex will pull through - it will be a Christmas miracle.

I really liked the scenes w/ Morris and Banfield too :rotfl:

I knew Jerry was still alive- cool :)

What's everyone's favorite site for ER recaps? I used to go to digiserve, but they seem to have vanished into thin air a couple of years ago. I miss them, too; the recaps were detailed and they had absolutely hilarious comments!:lmao:

p.s.- Forgot to record last night's show...:rolleyes1

How have I missed this thread for so long? I have even looked for an ER thread and didn't see this.

I think Alex will put through. It will be interesting to see if the relationship makes it with Sam and Gates. TNT was just showing the one where Alex ran away when Sam was dating Luca.

The Morris and Banfield scenes were great. He is such a goober.

I really hate this show to end. I have watched since the very first episode and even watch the reruns during the day!

could someone let me know what happened to alex and who was driving and some details about the scene? Im not allowed to watch it without my roomate (its our thing) but I can get spoilers. Help...

Alex & Gates daughter (for lack of a better term) begged Gates to go to a party with some friends. They said they'd walk, it's only 5 blocks away, they'd be home by 10, etc. He said no, they had a busy weekend, snowboarding, school work, etc. Then there was a scene where someone asked Sam if she had called back Gates to which she replied Oh shoot no. Then in comes the girl in the car accident. Basically flatlined someone mentioned seeing brain matter which basically means death. Then in comes a boy and upon closer inspection Sam realizes it's Alex. Then comes in Gates kid - only a broken arm, she was in the back seat. Alex was driving, front passenger girl died I think being thrown through the window and extremely intoxicated. Alex's levels come back neg for drugs or alcohol. You find out near the end that Alex was driving the friend home because she was too drunk to drive. He swerved to avoid another vehicle that had run a red light - slid through due to weather :confused3 so he really "saved" everyone from a much worse accident even though the other girl died. Just when you think things are going to be ok - he starts to wake up, vitals are looking good, blood gushes from his chest tube and they start yelling aortic rupture. Gates & Sam are looking at each other knowing how bad things have just gotten and they are opening up Alex's chest. Next weeks previews show him on a respirator and Sam in a chapel praying.

Ok this is sad, I was reading this thread earlier today and of course I clicked the link and watched our beloved Dr. Greens last scene, :sad1:

I had tears streaming down, could even post then.

Jump to tonight, mom and i out shopping and stop for dinner, so I tell her about what I watched earlier and she says 'I cant even remember" so like a ding dong I say " well let me tell" and Iswear I was ready to cry again....at the table over my salad :sad2:

never in my life has a character on a show had such an impact on me, man I am gonna miss this show :sad1:

Why is ER ending???! Seriously! The show is so awesome I don't want it to end! *cry*

It is funny; in other threads, I've seen folks ask why ER is still around. :)

Dr Ross will be back!!!!!! He is going to do one episode for this year!!!!!

I have really enjoyed seeing the "old" cast. Some many memories come up seeing them!

Overall, I have really enjoyed this season.

NO!!!!! Oh my GOSH, I am soooooooooo going to watch this episode!

I remember reading somewhere that the author thought it was odd that Doug and Carol didn't come back to the show for Mark's funeral; wasn't Doug his "best" friend? I must say that I agree with that one, but at least he's coming back now. Any ideas as to what reason they'll give for his return?

YAY!!! I've watched ER out of habit the last couple of years, but I do, can actually say I've enjoyed this season. Loved the Dr. Greene episode. So many memories....:sad1:

I have to say this has been one of the best seasons ER has had in quite some time. I can't wait to see Dr.Ross again! It has been wonderful seeing so many of the originals again and catching up with their SLs. I also love having Jerry back at County. How great is that?!!!

Is there any word yet about the final epi and what they have planned? The only two things I am hoping for is for Sam to FINALLY be happy and for some serious REELA love. I so want her to get away from this Brenner guy and be with Ray(I'd like another episode with him, too!)

Carter is sick & on Dialysis :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

This season is finally the ER I remember!

I have only been an occasional ER watcher, but why is Carter on hemodialysis????:confused3

I just this moment finished watching last nights episode. It ended showing Carter on Dialysis, didn't say why he was on it. I am so upset right now. I worry the show started with Carter's arrival and will end with his death. I hope this is not what they do. I haven't heard this, but just get this feeling.

I have also wondered how they could bring Dr. Ross (Clooney) back and have always felt it would have to be something about Carter.

I am soooo upset right now.
