Final decision

They are both great. If view is important, go with Boardwalk, I set on the Balcony for hours and watch the crowd on the Boardwalk and Epcot. It relaxes me at the end of the night. I know some like it for lower points rooms but I can't see staying there and looking at the parking lot.

I love BeachClub too. It is classy. Cape Mays is a wonderful restaurant. It is one of our favorites. If you want SAB then make that a must but the Pool at Boardwalk is pretty nice. It has a circus theme.

And like someone else said... Location location Location!!!

Thanks for the input :goodvibes

I'm just waiting for my package to arrive in the mail so I can sign the documents for BWV :cool1:

Having been a DVC member since 1997, I can tell you that the overall resorts are not shabby. Are there maintenance issues in some of the units on occasion? Of course...the units are used by thousands of people, not all of whom care for them as most of us would. I have found that when I call Maintenence/Housekeeping with an issue, it is rectified quickly and to my satisfaction. And most of the issues I have encountered have been minor. The one time that I had some fairly major issues with the unit, I did speak to someone and they followed-up by telling that the unit had been taken out of circulation for a complete refurbishment. My understanding is that DVC has some sort of maintenance/refurbishment schedule, so things never usually get terribly out of hand.

As far as where to buy...BCV vs. BWV. I would buy BCV because of Stormalong Bay. It is, by far, the best pool complex on property, and we love it. This is my personal opinion. That isn't to say BWV isn't lovely too, because it is. It's just that view isn't as important to us...we'd go for the pool. Both resorts have the same location essentially...in the Boardwalk area...so that's a "wash".
