Figment closed?

Why is Figment closed right now? I have it as one of my fastpass picks for next month, should I change it? I'm seeing this info from the My Disney Experience app.

Based on the Disney World website, it's scheduled to operate today from 9 to 9. I'd say it broke down and is closed temporarily while the attempt to get it running again.

Can't answer your question but I'd advise you not to burn a FP on this. I can't remember the last time we had any wait at all, wifey and I usually have a car to ourselves.

Have you been recently? Word is since fp+ was enacted the need for this ride to use one has greatly increased.

It was either Figment or Nemo and we always choose Nemo so I figured we'd try Figment this time, I've only been on it once almost 10 years ago.

Its most likely a temporary closure, it could be a mechanical issue, etc. I do not believe Figment is slated for rehab anytime soon (even though it should be IMHO).. But with that said, I have to second what @PSUGuy said, there is really no need for a FP for Figment, I have never seen a wait longer than 15 min in the standby queue (outside of NYE, etc.)

Wow! We went over the summer multiple times and they wait might have been 10 minutes tops.... Interesting!

We were just there on Wednesday and there was no wait at all. I saw a lot of people burning FPs on it that had absolutely no advantage over stand by.

I get it. I have a fast pass for it in February. Since soarin is down I have Test Track as my Tier 1 and Spaceship earth as tier 2. That leaves Figment, Nemo, Turtle Talk or Character spot. So either I throw it away at one of those or just throw it away. Since my kids aren't in to characters anymore it's either Figment or Nemo. Hoping it was just down today. They should let us know if the are going to cancel the FP. Have a fun trip.

When did you visit last . Was there 2 weeks ago we walked right on. Been that way for awhile now.

Of Nemo vs Figment...Figment is more likely to have the longer line. I have never seen Nemo with more than a 20 minute wait. I have actually seen Figment wait of 35-45 minutes. Of course I have also seen it with no wait. Since you have to choose one, might as well choose Figment. Nice thing about the App is that if you arrive and see that the wait is 5 minutes, you can change the FP on the fly.

Went on Sat......walk on that and Nemo.
No more than a 2 minute wait.
But we get that third fast pass for one of those 2 because nothing else needs them

I have seen Nemo with a more than 20 minute wait. The line was out of the building and down the hill past stroller parking. It was thanksgiving weekend just before the full rollout of FP+

Josh had a recent post discussing wait times, and he said that, in 2015, Figment's wait time was over 30 minutes 187 times. That's pretty shocking! Sure, there will be times where there's no wait for Figment, but with FP+, it's no longer a ride that "never" has a line.
