Has anyone used Fidelity resales for their DVC purchase?:surfweb: What has been your experiences with this firm?:confused3

Thanks!

They were good with our purchase. :thumbsup2

Everything was handled smoothly but the closing took a little longer than normal. But that was also due to the mad rush last March to buy before Disney changed the resale rules. :sad2:

I'd buy from them again or the Timeshare Store, which ever had the right contract for me.

Good luck with your decision. :)

I'm in the process of purchasing from them right now, we're in the ROFR phase:scared1: I had read mixed reviews in the past so I was a little nervous to go with them. I must say, so far I have had an excellent experience. The person I'm working with is very helpful and always gets back to me right away with any questions I may have. I hope the closing goes smoothly if we pass ROFR.

I'm in the process of making my 2nd purchase with them and have not had any issues. I've Rachel, may rave about Sharon on the boards.

My experience I find them very good and I would rec.

We recently completed our purchase through Fidelity.

The service was service, but it wasn't great.

I had to ask for each bit of information, nothing was provided volutnarily. It took longer than it appears to take from other companies, but from start to finish was approximately 8 weeks, so that seems about right.

The only complaint that I have, really, is that I was not told on the front end that I couldn't pay for the contract on my Disney Visa, that I would be required to send a Cashier's check. Other than that, it was taken care of professionally, I didn't have to go through the notary issues I have read about in this forum, and I got the contract I wanted at a price I was happy with!

I used them for my recent purchase also and have nothing but good things to say about them. One glitch was a lost e mail from them that did not show up in my in box. they said it happens some times to AOL users. All phone calls were answered promptly and all questions and concerns answered. Took approx 8 weeks from offer to closing with ROFR being the longest part. Just as a side note try to e-mail your contract back or use express mail I used snail mail and delayed the process by 1 week.

I've used Fidelity 4 times. Once with Rachel and 3 times with Sharon. I would not hesitate to use Sharon again. The Title Company they use could be better though.

I was just coming here to ask this very question about Fidelity. Can anyone tell me what amount of "good faith deposit" they require? I inquired on a resale DVC property however they did not provide me with any information about how to make an offer, deposits, dues, closing costs, etc. Most of the other companies provided me with this information up front upon any inquiries.

Thanks

We used Jaki with garden Views in 2006 for our OKW contract and that was good. When we were recently looking at adding on at HHI, we inquired with Sharon about 2 small contracts and was told that the closing costs were like $600 per contract (even though the were both from the same seller with the same UY). We then inquired about 2 small contracts at TTS and decided to go with them because we only have to pay 1 closing cost at $425. That's all I know about Fidelity.

We put down 500. I was able to use my credit card for the deposit.

Congrats and good luck! We just got through ROFR and it took the full 30 days...just FYI.

We are in no big hurry. Not really planning to use the points until December and hopefully at a resort that is not a home resort, as we really want to go to Hawaii this year!

Just closed with Fidelity, waiting for points to show up.

No issues, took longer to get the initial contract signed (divorce), I had to contact a couple of times for more information since it took almost 2 weeks, after that, clockwork. 3 1/2 weeks for ROFR, and less than 2 weeks to close.

Our 1st resale purchase was with TSS, answered all my questions and sent a lot of information via e-mail. When my agent was not available I always got a call back from someone! When using Fidelty it was okay, glad I knew the process because the service was just not there. They did everything they needed and resale went thru fine but there were times of frustration just waiting for a call back or e-mail. If the price is right through Fidelty I would not hesitate to use them again. I sold a contract and knew without question that TSS was going to be my listing agent. Good luck

I used them and Rachel and Sharon are great. I only bought a small contract, but they treated me like I was buying 1000 points. It was extremely quick (passed rofr in a couple days) points were in the system in 2 business days after close. Will only buy from them
