Well, I've been looking for a good flight from Indy to Orlando in Oct. for about a month and a 1/2. I struggled over my decsion about to use or not to use ATA. I looked and looked for non-stop flights with times I wanted. Finally, I found a flight!!!!

I booked with Northwest for
4 people TOTAL= 747.56

I might have been able to get something a little cheaper with Southwest but, I just couldn't wait any longer. I already have my off-site house reserved and wanted to get the airfare taken care of.

Good for you....we live in Louisville and I have been gazing daily at flights from here and Indy for our Nov trip....it would be bice to fly out of here....but it would save over $300 (for the 4 of us) out of Indy.....yuck I hate playing the wait and see game....I feel like Louisville prices will come down when SW opens up their schedule that far, but I sure would like to get the air booked....

We live 20 minutes from the dayton airport, but actually pass by it to go to Ind. We saved over $280, by going w/ NWA this trip, and almost that much last trip, with ATA.

Starting in April, AirTran will have more flights out of IND. I believe they will have non-stop flights from IND to MCO, but I'm not 100% sure about the non-stop. They are running radio and newspaper ads about more flights.

we went with NWA this time too. We booked several weeks ago right after southwest opened our dates and most of the budget NS flights were sold out. While we were spoiled by ATAs NS schedule, NWA really isn't that bad and its about the same price we paid last year with ATA. I just hope the service is OK. DS had a flight from Memphis last weekend and it was almost an hour late and he said the service from NWA was awful.

I haven't flown with NW for about 6 yrs. The last time I used them I wasn't really happy with the service. I sure hope things have changed and they have made some improvements. I guess I'll find out in Oct. :sunny:

How did you get such cheep tickets??? I have been checking NWA's website everyday and the lowest I've seen was 212 pp. Just my luck I guess! :) I'm still waiting and hoping!

What dates are you looking for?? I'm going the first week of Oct. With an early flight out and an evening return.

We are going the 15th thru 23rd of October. That could be the difference I suppose. I'm glad you had luck though...still gives me hope! :flower:

Tikkipoo, it is according to what days you fly. I just checked NWA flights from IND to MCO for Oct. 16-24 and the price is $166.90 R/T for N/S.

For us it apparently didn't matter. :( It was the same price no matter what day we leave on. I always thought it did matter. :confused3

Please don't kill me, but my April tickets, were $136 R/T non-stop. I purchased them in Jan.

No worries. I'm just going to wait for a little while. Hopefully it won't come back to bite me. You never know these days with the airlines.
