What is the fewest number of days for which I can purchase tickets for the park, and get discounts? My husband and I are only going for a couple of days - I don't mind buying longer passes and saving days; however, we are on a tight budget, so I want to go as small as possible!

You don't say what kind of discount you're thinking of so your answer would be three, four, or five.

There are 3 day PH's and 3 day PHP's available from time to time. The 3 day PHP is currently available through the Alamo offer.

If you are talking about the general advance purchase discount that Disney has, it's a 4 day PH.

If you are referring to using a DC discount, the shortest admission you can get with a discount is a 5 day PHP. This discount is only available in advance from TDS or by phone.

You can get a 3-day Park Hopper Plus pass by going through the Alamo offer. There is a tollfree number at Mousesavers.com where you can get the 3 day pass. We ordered our tickets through this number, but we had a big problem picking them up at the will call window at the park. I would highly recommend ordering a month in advance and having the tickets sent to you. The office you call is actually an official Disney office called Preferred Ticketing. The 3 day passes are $169 for adults and $135 for kids. If you are going for just a couple of days, especially if you are staying on site, it's nice to have park hopper passes so you can see as much as possible.
