Leaving on Friday and I know a lot of people ride bikes to Beach House but my 4 year old still has training wheels so this may not be an enjoyable option. So, can we drive to Beach House? Also, is there a dishwasher (we have 2bdrm)? Never noticed when we have stayed at BW. Do they even have them there? Last, does HH give any info on local churches for Easter Sunday services at check in?

Thanks and happy and safe holidays to all.

You'll have a great time at HH!

You will receive a parking pass that allows you through the guard gate to the beach, so you may drive there whenever you'd like. There is also a shuttle from the resort to the beach.

All 1BR and larger villas at all DVC resorts have dishwashers and washer/dryers- so you're all set in your 2BR villa.

You will get a list of activities at check-in. If you have specific questions about local churches, they can assist with that information also.

Enjoy your stay! :)

You can also see about renting what I call a tag-along bike for your 4-year old. It's kind of like a bicycle-built-for-two, but the back part is child-sized. I've never ridden one, but I have the feeling that the adult in the front does all the work while the child gets the feeling of "helping" to pedal. ;) I don't think the Disney resort has these for rent, but they can probably refer you to another place that does.

As far as churches go, check out www.hiltonheadisland.com. There is a link for area churches (and just about everything else!). I agree with Doc -- you'll have a great time!!

Hi, thank you both for answering my questions. We're really looking forward to this trip. Have always wanted to go to HH since joining DVC and almost did an add-on there last year sight unseen. Instead went with BCV. Got this reservation at 7 months so there's hope. That HH website was a great source of info.

My oldest DS was able to ride on one of these before he was ready to give up the training wheels. It worked great. As long as the child has the idea of staying on a bike and not leaning off balance, there won't be a problem. The child can either help with the pedaling or not. There are no brakes in the back so the adult in the front is really in control.

Have a great trip. As others have said, "you'll have a great time".
