Ferns

HELP. My sister gave me one of her HUGE ferns back in Nov. She had it outside all last summer and it looked gorgious until now.All underneith is dying and has become a mess everyday in our home. I donot have a green thumb and she works with flowers all the time.

If you can mist it, that may help. Don't let the soil get dry and it only needs filtered light, maybe a north window, east may be OK too if it's not right up against the window. I have mine in a bathroom with a skylight.
