Carl - that is a beautiful thought. However, I still have many kitties even with this loss. You see ... all my cats have come to me as drop offs by people who leave them to die here in the country. We take them in, get them spayed and neutered, and give them the love they deserve. Most of our kitties are outdoor cats, but a few make it to "housecat" status - after wiggling their furbodies into our hearts. Floyd was one of two kittens that came to us through a pregnant female that was dropped off. She had her kittens and we kept those two. Found homes for the rest. Then had her spayed. We still have the mother in fact.
Having said that, I strongly encourage anyone considering adding to their family - to follow Carls advice. So many need homes and care.
