Speed Boat Beach Escape (4 - 4.5 hours)
Take a 2-person speed boat across the cerulean waters of Cozumel to a secluded beach for lunch and recreation.
Adult Price: $95 (ages 10 and up)

My college aged kids picked this one out. I've watched videos online - and it looks like it can be rather bumpy, and one of the people recording (probably in his 60s) made it sound a tad more "adventurous" that he had anticipated. I've enjoyed sea-doos in the past, but I was 15 years younger ;-) I'm having visions of my hubby and I each being driven full throttle by our 19 and 22 year olds.

Just checking to see if anyone on DIS has any feedback.

TIA

We did this excursion the year the world shutdown, so 2020. My dh and I are both in our 50's and we loved it! They give you an opportunity to change drivers mid-way through, but my husband was having way too much fun driving so I didn't want to take that away from him. LOL
It can be choppy, depending on weather conditions, but we had beautiful skies and smooth seas. You go a loooong way and we even did a drive by of the Fantasy. Then they take you to a beach and a pretty good lunch. I think we had chicken and tacos? The excursion was well run and well worth it. I know your 19 and 22 yo would have a blast as well. One more thing, the boats were in "good" shape, but don't expect new or anything. Like any transportation in Mexico that is utilized to give tourists a fun time, they are a bit beat up. As long as they float, though, right? :rotfl2:

Thanks so much for the feedback. I think I’ll probably keep it!
