Greetings all!

I'm currently in the final stages of my family's third trip to The World. Our second trip was 10-days onsite at the Beach Club, and my husband said "never again" would he do that much Disney with me. Well, lucky me, he has an upcoming conference on-site at the Dolphin, so my about-to-turn 5 year old and I are taking advantage of his "free room" to have some fun.

My goals with my plans:

  • Minimize walking/doubling back. On days 3 - 5, it will just be my daughter and me, and those little legs can't walk as much as we grown ones. I also don't want to mess with a stroller, so I'm trying to arrange my plans in a logical, sequential fashion.
  • Plenty of time for her to explore new areas we haven't done before, that will appeal to her (Swiss Family Tree House, The Boneyard, etc.)
  • Chances to sit down and take it easy along the way (stage shows, air conditioning, etc.)
  • And, the all-important, minimize time in lines!

So, I welcome your feedback!

Thanks in advance for all of your input!

I think your plans are great! Any feedback I give is just to give you something to think about. Your plans as is will give you a magical time!

Day 1: If your daughter is an Inside Out fan, you might consider meeting Joy and Sadness before you meet Baymax. You might also want to consider doing the Pick a Pearl in the Japan Pavillion.

Day 2: As long as you are getting to DHS that early for rope drop, you might as well show up at 8:00 am and head to the Jedi Training Academy sign up so your little Star Wars fan can be trained as a Jedi!

Day 3:

I would swing into Peter Pan at rope drop. I know you are fast passing it on a different day, but doing that here will either allow you to do it twice or open up a fastpass on a different day to do something like Enchanted Days with Belle. And, your other morning choices still will have short lines after you ride Pan.

Day 4:

The only thing missing is the Neimo show, but if you've already seen it, I get why you aren't doing it.

Day 5:

I don't think your plan is too aggressive at all. In fact, you might luck out and find a no/low wait time for Barnstormer that you could fit in. (As long as you realize that crowds could be large and you might not do all in your plans, I think you should shoot for the stars and aggressively plan!)

Have a great trip! You've done a great job planning!

I was also going to say that if your daughter LOVES Star Wars, you should see if she'd like to sign up for the Jedi Training Academy. If she's not sure, look it up on YouTube and watch some (or all) of it with her. I did this with my somewhat shy and sensitive 6 yr old who has just fallen in love with Star Wars to give him an idea of what it actually was. He was enthralled and said absolutely he must do that!

I think your first MK day looks a little aggressive. Making it to Country Bear by 10:00 will be iffy. Just be prepared to skip/miss something along there. Also, Skipper Canteen is quite a ways back from Philharmagic. Columbia Harbour House or Liberty Inn (TS) are both closer to where you end up.
