One of the local radio stations has done a spoof of the bandaid song called feed the wurzels. featuring local celebreties such as tony robinson(baldrick) the wurzels etc they've re-written the song to be about bristol.
featuring such lines as "theres a burned out car in hartcliffe theres a pimp down portland square" "the greatest gift they'll get this year is chips. oh i likes me chips i do!"
and let me say its bloomin hillarious. had me laughing till i was crying the first time i heard it. their selling it online for £1.49 at www.musicradio.com and the proceeds are being split between bandaid and a bristol childrens charity. they've raised i think about £5000 for each charity so far. go check it out if ya get a chance. its funny as hell
