We e-filed on Thursday and got our IRS has accepted your return email on Friday. I am wondering how long it has taken after you got your acceptance email for your status to show up on the IRS website.

We filed online last Saturday, it was accepted that Monday and deposited into our account this morning. So just 1 week after being accepted for us :thumbsup2

Thanks! Do you remember what day your "refund date" showed up on the IRS website. Right now, it can't find us, though our return was accepted on Friday.

It showed up the day it was accepted. It said we'd actually get it the 12th, but then last Thursday that changed to the 8th. I was surprised as normally they only deposit on Fridays.

Thanks again! I guess I'll keep checking until it shows up.

Thanks Toddlers Mom.
BTW, Gorgeous boy you have! I have a 4 year old son. (and 2 older girls) Nothing like a little boy who loves his mom!

I think it's 7-11 days...filed ours on Thursday, accepted on Friday and READY FOR THE DEPOSIT!!

Don't always go by the IRS website. We've gotten our refund before it's shown up on there before ;) Nice surprise but also reminded us that the system is flawed! And yes , the IRS does deposits on Fridays. They sometimes put a Tues date (or whatever down) because they don't want a bunch of calls if your personal bank isn't showing the deposit even though the Feds sent it.

I'm having the same issue. We filed our return on Thursday also and got the "accepted" email on Friday. When I check our refund it says it can't find us either. GRRRR!!!! I want my money!!!!!

We filed on 1/29 through Turbo Tax. Got the e-mail that it was accepted a day or so later. It said our refund would be 2/12, so I left it at that - never looked at the IRS site. Our refund was deposited 2/5. That was a nice surprise!

If you filed through Turbo Tax, it tells you that it may not appear on the IRS site for seven days. Even if you didn't, I imagine it's probably the same. As long as you received the accepted email, chances are you're fine.

I'm beginning to think that all of us who filed Jan 28th should have waited a day. Everyone that I've spoke with whose filed on that day isn't getting their refund until the 16th!! Now I'm wishing I had waited a day-looks like everyone who did is getting it already.

I filed on 1/28 too and just checked my status and it said 2/16. I'm thinking maybe we shouldn't have filed on a Friday. :)

I filed on 1-30, it was accepted on 1-31. IRS says 2/16, but I think it will be deposited on 2/12. At least I hope, lol!

I filed the 28 also mine says the feb 16 also. keepin my fingers crossed!

Still don't have a date showing. How annoying.

Have any of you seen a reduction in your federal refund? I was hearing that since April when Obama did the stimulus (taking out less of your paycheck), that if you normally receive a federal refund, you might not get quite as much. Did it seem to affect you much? Counting on our refund to help with vacation plans!

We didn't have a reduction, but DH gets a pretty substantial bonus. That's why we get a refund, anyway. Hard to adjust withholdings around that.
