Well, the 3rd annual DisBoard Diva trip (the Girls trip thread) is February 25 - March 2nd. There's about 45 of us going, and most of us are staying at the HOJO. :thumbsup2

If any of you see us there when you're there, come and say hi! :wave2:

LOL - yes that's true. Acutally we wear matching shirts (or matching shirt colors) during our trip, so it's easier to spot each other. Trying to spot little lime green Mickey heads can be tricky. :goodvibes

I will throw our hat into the ring to make 30. We are staying at the Park Vue Inn and will be arriving Feb 15 and leaving the 20th.

Too bad the Matterhorn is going to be down...DS(4) is not much of a thrill ride kind of kid and that is the one he rides the most readily.

I am also curious about when Captain EO will be starting up and how it will affect crowd levels.

Anyway-getting really excited about our trip. The official calendar is almost up to our trip dates so I can start to plan out the fireworks and Aladdin.

I think this makes me 31....we're going Feb 3-5, staying at DI&S again. :woohoo: I guess I should read this whole thread huh..I take it LGMH's are in order?? ;)

I need to make my reservations since I typed in this thread, LOL. I was never a last minute gal until having my MIL stay for the holidays threw all schedule making abilities out the window!! :lmao:

Well, I finally booked our hotel stay. We'll be staying in a 2 room suite at Park Vue. I know it doesn't have the best reviews, but we've stayed there before. At DLR, we have always stayed at nicer hotels that we needed to drive to, or take a shuttle. Our last trip to DLR we stayed at the Park Vue and really liked it there. On our last trip I got up early, got ready, went to raid the free breakfast and bring back food for the family, then we left for the park early. I like being able to walk to the park. The maid service could have been better, but hey, you get what you pay for!! lol.

Anyway, now that xmas is over I can concentrate on planning our DLR trip! I'm so bummed that the Matterhorn will be closed. I'm not telling the kids! And if Indie is going to be closed, well, we will all be disappointed.

I can't wait to:
1. Ride Alice (my fav)
2. Ride Indie (please, please, please be running)
3. Ride Space Mt.
4. Walk down Main St.
5. Watch my ds10 ride California Screamin' for the first time (I won't be on it...lol)
6. Walk around New Orleans Square. love it there!

I can't wait until the hours and entertainment guide comes up for our days. I can't do my final planning until then. I am sad that Matterhorn is down. I hope nothing else closes. With ROA down that closed list is huge. But I know it will be very fun still.

We are in Michigan for the holidays and got to spend some time with our "family" that is going to DLR together. The birthday girl bought us matching hoodies with Pooh and friends on the back and our names printed on the front. That should be fun.

Hi everybody!
This is my first time chiming in on a trip planning thread, but my hubby and I are looking at a trip Feb 5-7th and will be staying at the Fairfield Inn across the street. We can't wait to enjoy a dinner at the Blue Bayou and strolll down Main Street!
Can anyone give us an idea of what we can expect crowd wise that weekend?

What I can tell you is that DCA is open till 10 pm on the 7th. Monday is a school holiday....so how that affects the weekend crowds:confused:
The 6th will be the first day of our 8 day DL holiday. We are first timers. I can't wait:banana:

So glad I found this thread!. My wife just informed me of my "suprise" 30th birthday trip to DLR Feb 18th-22. We are waitlisted for a studio at VGC, chances of that are slim. so we will most likely at the Fairfield. I am so excited to go, even if it just for a few days.

WELL glad to have ya! weekends can be expected to be a lil more busy but february is still one of the slowest months of the year. there is a school holiday as the PP stated but i think youll be okay. febs a great time to go :)

no meet ups yet! so ill be bold enough to start. we will be there from 2/24-2/27 so if anyone would like to have a meet and you are there around those times, we are happy to meet ya! we have a lil boy who will be 19 months when we are there. im sure he will be happy to meet ya too ;)

We'll be there Feb. 2 - 4. We are taking our daughter for her third birthday. I made sure to go in the days leading up to her birthday so she is still free!! We are staying at the BWPPI. I had booked the HoJo, but after reading people complain about the walk scared me. We will have to leave the park for a couple of hours during the day for her nap so being closer to the park is better!
