February standard rooms unavailable

Hi! I'm in the beginning stages of planning our trip for February 1-8 and notice some value and mod resorts have the standard rooms unavailable for this time. Is there something big that goes on this week that may make me want to change my dates? Can't wait to book...I love the planning phase!!!

I would be interested, in this , as well. I did notice that Caribbean beach had no standards, but, I thought "no big deal, I'll just book Port Orleans". But, now you have me worried. By the way, those are same exact dates we are planning.

The UDA dance championship is being held at WDW the first weekend in February. I don't know how much of an impact this has on the parks/resorts, but it looks like they're staying at All Stars and CBR.

We are visiting the last week in January, so I came across this info while I was searching to see if any events were taking place around the time of our visit.

While there will certainly be an event of some type going on (there always is) I would call CRO to inquire about available rooms. The website has been glitchy at best as of late and showing little or no inventory, even for people looking to book for spring or summer 2014. Last week the website was showing the entire WDW resort sold out for a particular week in '14 .

I'm sure it's the dance competition then...I noticed Caribbean Beach as well as All Star Movies, but not Music or Sports. I've heard of resorts being taken over around the time of Pop Warner competitions...just want to know what I'm in for!!
