February Magical Family Adventures!!~ LAST DAY!! (6/5)

Glad you enjoyed your helicopter ride. You are so close less that 3 weeks to go. Love your countdown calender. I think I am going to use your idea for the little gifts from the dollar bins.

wow, it is so close now

Love your countdown calendar.

Target dollar section rocks :cool1:

I know, it is getting so close! I'm hoping the next 2 weeks at school will keep us busy enough to not notice the time.

Thank you

I love the $1 section!! :goodvibes

Hi Cherie I had already read about you hlipoterride on FB !! These pix are awesome !! I am petrified of heigts and yet don't mind flying, but dn't ask meto climb a ladder!! You re getting soooo close !!
Funny you should say that. The pilot was telling us the exact same thing. In fact there are many pilots who are that way. They can fly all day long but you put them standing high on top of something and they can't move.

What stunning aeriel photos!!! Glad you had a good time!

Love the countdown calendar -- what a great idea!

I can't wait to get my very own celebration luggage tags. The kids and I watched the 2009 planning DVD last night and got even more excited (if that is possible) for our summer trip!

Thank you. :goodvibes
I have been eyeing that DVD. I think I will pop it in today! I knew if I started it too early I'd wear it out. :rotfl2:

They have a lot of cute stuff in the dollar bin right now. I got some toy story roller stamps, A couple of Disney snack bowls, some Disney socks, and something else. I will post pic's of them as I give them to him.

When I went grocery shopping on Saturday, our bakery had king cakes out -- I know that we aren't from Louisiana and we weren't having a pre-Mardi Gras party of any sort, but I couldn't resist that ring with cream cheese frosting and purple, green, and yellow sprinkles. It came with beads, too! :rotfl: So I bought it and we ate our king cake while watching the DVD. :thumbsup2

Wow, you are braver than me. I don't think I will ever ride in a helicoptor. I am glad you got your bag. Mine came in too but it's lime green. I am going to iron on my mickey head tomorrow. We were gone all weekend on a camping trip and I am now trying to catch up on the boards.

You've been busy girl! :cool1:

The countdown calendar looks great - and fun! :thumbsup2

Love the red baggalini. ::yes::

So, we get the blue envelope even though we're not flying? Woohoo! :cool1: I think I'm more excited about receving mail from Disney this time than anything else. :rotfl:

Ooooh!!!! That sounds like a plan!! We have a king cake that we bought yesterday. We had some for desert last night. We got one with strawberry filling and it is GOOD! :thumbsup2 I think we may have to use your idea tonight.

I won't lie. I was TERRIFIED!! But once we were in the air it really wasn't bad. I was shocked.

I love this bag!! I'm so glad you told about it. I was thinking of doing an iron on or something but I'm affraid I'll mess it up. I'm not too good with that stuff. I went through 3 t-shirts for DS's first trip before I got one right. :rotfl2:

It's been crazy busy around here. I'm just glad that some of it is fun stuff! :thumbsup2

Thank you.

Yep! You will still get the blue envelope even if you are not flying. It's just probably not as thick since there is no magical express stuff in there.

I haven't posted pic's of the dollar gifts yet. Was going to do that as I give them to him starting at 5 days out.

They come with fillings??? They only had cream cheese and cinnamon at our grocery. I would love to try strawberry -- that sounds delicious!

Oh yes!! They have just one filling such as cream cheese, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, chocolate, vanilla, etc. BUT THEY ALSO HAVE COMBO'S such as cream cheese & strawberry, or cream cheese & blueberry, etc. Those are even better!!! :thumbsup2

Blue the pilot is right !! Many years ago I went up inside a working windmill in England Got so far up and froze!I could not move my legs to go back down my ex nmy niece had to literaly pull my legs down the stairs !! It was the steep stairs that did it cuz I can go up a closed in elevator and look down on heights put those steps get me every time!!

Hey girl!!!!!

What cool helicopter pics!!!! I love the dollar aisle at Target too! I have already started buying things and we aren't even going until November!!:rotfl2:

So, tell me about this baggalini thing? I have saw several people talk about them but I have never asked any questions!

:rotfl2: The dollar section is almost evil. It call's my name every time I walk in the door. I spend way to much money just in that one tiny section!

You can check out the baggalini messanger bag here:

It's just a fun little cross body bag that you can organize and fit LOTS of stuff in. This one is a little bigger than the other one I have. The other one is a "Travelon".

It really was!! ::yes::

Glad to hear that you enjoyed the helecopter ride. The one that yall were on has more area in the passenger area than most small helecopters. The one I fly on every week has backward facing seats and when someone is in those our feet have to go inbetween each others. The one that you were on has nice space in it and a little quieter than most too. :cool1: ERA is a good company too. two other majors have had some bad things lately. :sad2:

Glad to hear you had a nice pilot too. The pre-flight checks can seem like they go on forever and if you don't know what he is doing you would have been going crazy and ready to get out as soon as you can. I'm glad you got to ride up front. That is the best views. :thumbsup2

Oh yes, I'm glad it was with ERA and not PHI. I would have been more scared due to recent "mishaps". I'm glad he was explaining everything he was doing during the test checks. I had the earphones on and heard the "warning...engine fire, warning...engine fire". He told me BEFORE I heard that that I would be hearing that. :thumbsup2 My mother on the other hand was in the back seat going crazy since it was taking so long. She was like "ok, ok, ok let's go" I zipped around and told her to HUSH and let the man do his job!! Is she crazy??!! I'm trying to make sure he checks every single button and knob. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

That's the way you put momma in her place. :rotfl:

It's not fun when you see that fire light on during flight either. I had that happen on my birthday over 11 years ago. That is a flight I'll never forget. :scared:
