February Exercise Challenge!

Aw. Thanks. :) This thread is inspiring me. And look at you 1215! Way to go! I'm determined to make my goal.

Thursday, Feb 23 - 40 minute Dance Party 2. I wasn't sure if this was going to be a good workout, but my heart rate was up between 130 and 144 the whole time. According to my cardiologist, my max heart rate right now is 138. Oops. I'll need to pay closer attention to my monitor next time. It was lots of fun though.

Feb. 17 - 40 min. strength (Pilates)
Feb. 22 - 55 min. cardio (Nordic Track and bike)

Doesn't look like I am going to make my goal this month.

But you've done 415 minutes of exercise this month and that's 415 more than a lot of people would have done. That is something to be proud of. :goodvibes AND you still have 5 more days to kick that up even a bit higher. :)

2/22 75 mins cross ramp and elliptical
2/23 60 mins; 30 cross ramp and 30 boot camp

Well, the only exercise I'll probably get today is walking through the airport terminal and from check-in to my villa at Saratoga Springs. Yep, I am off to Walt Disney World for the Princess Half-Marathon. I am excited AND nervous. I've done 2 full marathons and many half-marathons but my knee controls my destiny on this one. It swelled so much in January that it locked and I had to pull myself out of the WDW Half at the medical tent at mile 9. The medical personnel there were shocked I could walk at all when they saw how swollen my knee was. And the long incision from 2 surgeries ago was so spread that it looked like an overcooked hot dog. :scared1: LOL! I am hoping to do much better this Sunday. :rolleyes1

I will update everyone's numbers when I get back. I still haven't figured out how to move down on the edit post screen from my ipad :confused3 so I can't do updates from it.

kam, if i haven't already wished you a great race, HAVE A GREAT RACE! hope that knee cooperates! have a wonderful time and a safe trip! Ahhhh...SSR! enjoy every second of it! i so wish i was there again this year. i was just telling someone yesterday that crossing the finish line of the princess half last year was one of my happiest moments ever. have a safe and happy race and vacation!
 

Just catching up for this week

Wednesday I did 5 miles in 60 min pushing my little guy
Thursday I did 4 miles in 56 min pushing the stroller again


So my new total is: 660/1500

Hope to finish the month of strong then try again next month!

Feb. 24 - 65 minutes: 35 minutes strength (lower body) and 30 minutes cardio :)

Hi guys! I popped onto this thread to see what it was all about. I'm on team Mickey for the BL challenge. You guys are awesome with the amount of exercise you are doing a month. I might have to try next month's challenge. Also, cam, it's the princess this weekend and you are participating? Good luck! You are awesome for competing in such an event. If anyone else on here is competing good luck to you too!

Saturday, Feb 25 - 27 minutes 30DS and 20 minutes stair stepper.

Lol. I realized that I've been logging the 30DS for 20 minutes when it is really 27 from warm up to cool down. :rotfl: I'm not going to change anything, but wanted to make a note to account for "extra" seven minutes logged.

15 mins bike on level 7 (the longest I've stayed at that level -ugh!)
 
Ran 11 miles this morning in 127 min

New total: 910/1500

Playing hockey later too but will add those minutes later on

Sunday Feb 26 - Just Dance 2 for 50 minutes.
