February Exercise Challenge--One day at a time, One workout at a time!

30 minutes of yoga using the Yoga Studio app. My calf is really tight......I think I pushed it too much too quickly getting back into running. Hopefully I can get my first run of the week in tomorrow.

Whoohooo! Did 20 min of upper body and core work last night. That's 3 for 3 days in February so far.

I got 45/600 yesterday. I think I should get extra since I earned it walking outside in 25 degree weather. :rotfl2: It is supposed to snow with freezing rain tonight so I will be hitting the treadmill.

Well I can now say this is a motivator. It is 0 degrees out and dropping. And I had a very hard time getting my butt out the door for the run this evening.

I didn't get my workout in, but I did shovel by hand for 90 minutes. Does that count? (We've gotten at least 5" so far, and DH and I clear our driveway, then our neighbor's)

If you want to count it, then I say count it. :)
Just let me know your updated total.

Oops, I just realized I added the minutes of one of my runs incorrectly. After my run this morning, I am now at 230.

Thank goodness for technology and my running log. I can't add minutes for anything! :)
 
Ok, I decided to sign up for this. Maybe it will help me to stay on track with my exercise! :goodvibes

I think I will start with a lower goal, will see how it goes! So:

goal: 750 minutes starting today! :cool1:

30 minutes Couch to 5K, 30 minutes brisk walk, 20 minutes strength exercises.
I think I lowballed my goal. I've adjusted it up.
 
75/600 - walked again last night outside before the weather hit. It took me 45 min to shovel this morning. I don't know the last time I sweated that much. We got 10 inches of snow and a layer of ice on top. I plan to also walk tonight on the treadmil so I will post my total tomorrow.
