Sorry folks, I don't know what happened. I posted this up Thurs nite, but it did not post:confused3 . I did not get a chance to get over here yesterday, as we had horrible weather and my boss had to leave town at 6am for Florida as his dad had a stroke. So pretty stressful. Thankfully, my exercise is my therapy and helps me cope with the stress!!!

Same as always, here's how it works. Post up how much exercise you are committed to doing for this month. It can be minutes, miles whatever. The milestones are as follows:

10% blue
25% green
50% purple
75% orange
90% red
100% silver
Over 100% gold

When you post up your numbers, please do so in this format: 100/1200 (minutes done/goal). It is really helpful if I don't have to do any math.

In addition, for anyone who is interested, we will be doing a 2008 challenge-how many minutes/miles for the entire year. I will keep track of your monthly totals and track the year long ones as well. So as an added incentive, post up how much exercise you want to do in '08. Remember this is all for fun and to motivate us a little more to get off the couch and get moving. It shouldn't stress you out!!!

Last month my goal was 600 minutes and I surpassed it. :woohoo: So this month I will set a goal of 750 minutes. :cool1: Again I apologize for not being color coordinated.

Since I surpassed my 600 minutes last month I'm going for 750 minutes this month.

I'm 40/750 after my 40 minutes of shoveling snow yesterday!
 

My goal for the month is 1305, and so far, I am at 30/1305. Last night, we had a school program, so, my workout was shortened due to the late hour we arrived home from school.
 
It's a short month, but I'm going to try for the same goal as Jan....1400 minutes. Yesterday was a good start with 2 hours of snow shovelling. :eek: So, that makes me 120/1400.....1560/18000
 
Kim here. My goal for the month is 950. Yesterday was 50/950.

Ok, sign me up 1500 for Feb. I went to an aerobaton this morning so I am 120/1500. I won a stability ball, it was fun, but my back is sore. But it felt good to exercise in the morning. Now on to housework,

I'm here! I'm going for 1500 min for Feb!

So far I am at 180/1500! :cheer2:

2/1 - dance class - 120 min.
2/2 - bicycle - 60 min.

I feel like I am off to a good start this month. I haven't felt much like exercising because my legs really hurt after my workout this past Wed., but I really do feel better after getting out there the past 2 days. Now, my workout on Thurs to finish off my goal for last month.....well let's just say that was a totally different story! It was a rather painful experience, but still important to keep moving through my soreness and I am already feeling the good results.

I am new to the exercise challenge, so I am going to start off small with 500 minutes, I just finished 45 minutes so I am 45/500, GO ME!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to those who are new, welcome back to my old friends :hug:

This dog walking thing is working out really well for me. Comes out to about 30-40 minutes of extra exercise each day, with a walk in the am and pm. Now if only I could get the dog to stop whining when I go downstairs to the treadmill, I'd have something.
 
Note to self...buy bigger dog for walking. ;) I was reminded today of just how much work building a snowman is. Man I was puffing trying to roll that big old ball of snow. Add to that a rather active snowball fight and pulling DD around the yard on the sled, and I'm in for 45 today. 165/1400....1605/18000
