Michelle - THANK YOU, THANK YOU! We were really sweatin' it here in our home. We wanted to do something where we might have an option for the kids to do more than just beach if possible and I have certain health issues so I needed shade and a ladies room.
I made my ressies and am waiting for our confirmation within 24 hours. I reread some of the thread again to figure out the best time to go and it seems the group chose different times between 10 and 11am. We went with 11.
I'm going over to Disney site now to cancel my ressies for the ruins. I am sooooo heartbroken about it. I really wanted to do something extra interesting and educational. Oh, well can't have your cake and eat it too I guess.
Dee Don't dispare we PUP's are going to have a great time and your kids will to, in these times we all are cutting somewhere, yours is just there, but you will still have a wondrful time I'm sure. You will be with the PUP's of course.
I bought my green ribbon material and some bar pin things. I also got some lanyards today at
Walmart but am wondering if the KTTW card has a punch and will attach or do you need a pouch type lanyard to slide the card into. VVV's (Valentine Voyageur VETERANS) please let me know.
OK, posting this out to the VVVs too. How many suitcases each? Is it 2 plus a day bag? And will a non-collapsible large suitcase fit under the bed? I read someplace that the suitcases will fit under the bed if you lift it up and scoot it under. Or do you bring mostly/all collapsible type suitcases? The room is small and I don't want to be tripping on the suitcases all week.
I also got some silly string for the sail away party. Is it allowed or not? I don't want to bring it if it's a no go. I really don't care for the silly string but the kids sure love it for a silly moment. Maybe we just restrict it to the room if I bring it.
OK, the last time I cruised one year ago this week, the KTTW card it the same size and look as a standard credit card, there is no picture on it. If you have stayed at WDW they are the same has a hotel room key card. I would suggest that is you get a clear pouch, get the kind that have a zip lock top.
From experience, I put my key and Drivers license in a non zip pouch, I was going back on the ship and it was windy and my lanyard was blowing around. I had just got up to where they check your id and key card and saw that my drivers license was gone, OK everyone can you see me panic.
I know where I had it last, just about 100 yards back. We turn around that start to run and this gental man new the Rum shack at St Mart, can recongnize me from my DL and he come up to me and says are you missing something. maybe it was the facted that I was almost in tears worring what I was going to do, that was before we had a passport. So go for the ziplock kinds.
Suit cases. We each have one large and then one medium between the both of us and then our day bags. Ill also have my laptop case and two boxes of our fish extender stuff. a lot, but we are staying for almost two weeks and I'm only going to do whites laundry. The suitecases fit under the bed, but you have to lift it slightly to fit under the frame. There is also some room in the closets. But as tips by Dee bring your over the door shoe holder, it really helps, we didn't bring it until our 4th cruise and I sure wish I had done it before them. Kept the room tidy and organized.
Silly string, sorry, I didn't see anyone with it, they have our these type of milar strimers on a stick type thing.
Well I will chat with you all Monday night. I am going to try to go to sleep at 9pm tonight, kind of a hard thing when I'm usuall up until 11:30 and then up again at 7am. I hopeful as I am tired now and it only 8pm here. We have to get up by 3:30a, we are going to the airport at 4:45a for my 6a flight.

AHHHHHHHH I ALWAYS OVERPACK! and this time its for a whole week! i get to pack for the DD's as well and i need another suitcase!
