Awesome - excuse my ignorance  but what is 28.01? :confused3

Wooohoooo! Got everything done last night! Palo is booked, spa treatment and port adventures. Also got all checked in and an 11 - 11:30 port arrival time!!!!!

Booked our excursions, Palo, and spa treatment last night. I was shocked to see everything was available-Right before I was able to start booking at midnight :surfweb: a Disney survey popped up that took 10 minutes to complete- I figured everyone on the boat would be up at midnight booking everything(like when you want to buy concert tickets that are selling out in a minute-LOL)- Got on at 12:15 and everything was available- except cabanas which was fine for me-didn't need anyway- I guess they must open up so many at a time- I'm so happy!!!!!

I was so upset last night, my computer wasn't working right and I had to wait till this morning to book my reservations. I did get Palo for Monday night, not happy with the time (8:30pm) but I booked anyway. We are traveling with another couple (reservations are linked) who hadn't paid in full, do you think when they are ready to book they can put them at our table? Couldn't get the spa treatment I wanted, on the day I wanted, maybe I'll try to book it when I get onboard. We're doing the Stingray City Tour while at Grand Cayman, which I booked, I also wanted to do the dolplin encounter but the rest of our group decided not to do this tour. I did online check-in and also got 11 - 11:30 arrival time. I'm really getting excited, this is our first Disney cruise and I can't wait.

Question: There is still a table for 4 open on Wed evening the same evening as the pirate party before the party begins, I read the dining room does something special this night in the theme of pirates, can anyone tell me what happens in the dining room before the pirate party. I'm just wondering if I should move our palo reservation. Thanks.

I´m so sorry - in Europe we write the date different - first day and then month. Everytime i read a date in a thread on this board, like 03.04.2010, i have to rethink. :rotfl2:

I meant 28 january - it´s a saturday. We´ll have a traveltime from about 18 hours.

--

I tried to book Palo - my husband preferd brunch on a sea day, but it was sold out :(

:flower3:

By the way, i started to finish online checkin but i don´t know what time i should choose for port arrival - we will use disney groundtransportation directly from our resort.

I believe it doesn't really matter what time you chose when using Disney ground transportation. When the bus gets you to port, you go into the terminal.

When we did the MR on the Wonder last year the pirate bandanas where waiting at the main dining room for us, and there is a specific pirate menu every main dining room uses. I really enjoyed the menu but I have also read a lot of people don't like that menu. :confused3 I don't recall anything else special about the dinner itself.

We are doing Palo for brunch because we think the dining rooms hold their own for dinner.

Isn't this the night with the Conga line and then Limbo parade in the dining room? Also, the servers have piratey clothes on.

Thanks, Palo for brunch is already booked online, I believe I'm going to keep our reservations and when I get onboard I'll try to change them to a table for 4, I hear Palo keeps about 50% of the reservations for reserving on the day of the cruise. I'm hoping.

Did you already book your portadventures and where will you go?

We only booked one at cozumel. Mayan Ruins & Discover Mexico Cultural Park.
At Grand Cayman we like to visit Turtle farm on our own.

What will you do?

For Key West we will just probably walk around or catch the trolley there-I believe if you buy tickets in Key West you can hop on and off (Disney port adventure I'm reading you can't)-Will save on walking time

Cozumel we are going to do the Dune Buggy/Beach Snorkel Tour

Grand Cayman we are going to do the Dolphin Encounter and Swim with the kids

CC-going to do the Sting Ray Adventure there

We booked one in Cozumel - the highlights & Mayan ruins tour. We also booked the "glass bottom" boat tour on CC. It wasn't rated highly in our PassPorter guide book but we went on one in Aruba & liked it. Everything will be a new experence for our children so just seeing their faces is worth everything to me

:rotfl2: I was thrown off without the year - we write to my husbands family in Italy :lmao:
So you will be in WDW from 28 Jan ? Awesome! Are you staying after the cruise?

I am wondering the same thing about that trolley ride too, description on on DCL port adventure says you can't hop on and off. Why are they different than the regular trolley ride? What's the advantage of booking through Disney? :confused3

Just booked our air transportation and our Friday night accomodations!!! Another step closer!!!!
