Now that we're settled back in and winter looms, I can start planning the FE treats. Yippee!!

It feels like winter alright- Kids finally went back to school today after 2 snow days due to our freak Halloween snow storm. Our area here in NJ was hit hard. I would never imagine the day that my kids went trick or treating in a foot of snow and have snow boots on to do so in NJ-LOL! Its been a bad fall already. We have had no power and the loss of trees has been terrible. Looks like a war zone here in North Jersey. I bought the Farmers Almanac to see what the weather will be to get out of NJ in Feb. Said it would be good but the week we are away a snow storm producing several inches will hit. My husband thought I was lying when I told him a snow storm would hit this past weekend according to the book -I couldn't believe it happened!! I hope the Feb. one hits on our way home and we get stuck in Florida for a few extra days As long as I can get out of here and get on the plane I don't care what happens up here!!! Can't wait til Feb!!!!!

I waited up to midnight last night to reserve my excursions and Palo reservation. It wouldn't let me do the online check in but this morning it was up and ready. I got an early arrival time to port just like I wanted. I'm getting very excited for this cruise! I hope everyone else is able to book what they want too

I also waited until midnight last night, and I was out of the country at a conferance. I was able to get our Palo reservation but had to wait until today to get our port arrival time, 11:00-11:30 !

We are going to WDW before and after! Luckily a good friend is a CM and lives very close to the Magic Kingdom. He is actually less than 2 miles from the castle! We will be staying with him.

Well I have enjoyed all of your posts.. just spent an hour reading all of them and hopefully meeting you all - I am sooooo excited. This is my daughter and my first cruise and first DCL (We are doing back2back - also doing the Eastern on Feb 11). My daughter will be turning 21 in 2012. This is exciting in itself.,, Does anyone know if they have special accomodations or excursions for special needs I havent gone on a vacation for over a decade (although we went to DL and DW through wishes when she was younger). She is in a walker so we may have limited excursions which by the time we are allowed to book they may be all gone lol... so no problems there.. I was hoping for the dolphin experience and the stingray hopefully they will not be sold out. I also was thinking of a spa treatment for us both.. are they expensive??

You don't have to go in to the parks, hang out at Downtown Disney or Boardwalk area, or have meal at one of the Magic Kingdom Resorts and ride monorail would be fun too!

We booked the cruise so early they didn't let me book GTY. I got the room assigned from the start cat 11C. Does anyone know if there is any chance for getting a free upgrade??
