February 4th, 2012 MAGIC 7 night Western cruise

Our kids found out on Christmas, too. I wrapped up the leather Passporters Cruise edition and printed off a Disney map of our stops. After screaming and dancing my daughter paused and asked, "Can we do fish extender gifts again?"
:goodvibes

Hope everyone had happy holidays! Now that Christmas has passed, I can concentrate on our fish extender gifts. Sharon, our room number is 2072. Thanks again for organizing everything. :goodvibes

HI All,
I just booked this cruise and would love to join the FE group! Can someone please tell me know is organizing it so that i may sign up? Also is there a FB page set up for this cruise as well? Any info would be great! Can't wait to meet as many of you as possible! Should be an exciting cruise!
Thanks for the help!

Hi pluto1979 ~

There's still time to be a part of the FE group. Please send me your stateroom number and list who will be in your party (list any kids' ages.)

This goes for anyone else. I've sent private messages to those who've expressed an interest. Please get back to me as the cut-off date is coming up.

The fish extender thing sounds so fun and I know my kids would love it...but I read one blog that said 60 families participated on their cruise! It seems overwhelming to make/bring something for that many families. Has anyone ever divided up into smaller groups to make it more manageable?

Right now, we have 35 people in 10 staterooms confirmed. So, if the original list of interested participants seemed overwhelming, this number may grow a bit but I think it will be manageable.

Thanks for letting me know if you want to join.

Hope you all had or are having wonderful holidays!!!

Sharon

Thanks Sharon for keeping us updated.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas...

We would like to participate in Fish Extenders!

Thanks for organizing!

We got our cruise documents! :cool1: It's exciting that the cruise is that much closer. Too bad there is nothing new inside though.

FedEx just delivered the travel documents, yeah!

Hi All.

Happy New Year to all!

We are Jane and Dave from the UK, this will be our third DCL cruise and by far the shortest to date, our two previous trips were both Westbound Transatlantic(oh those fab sea days with 25 hours!)with around 300 DISers on board.
We will be staying at All Star Movies for a couple of nights before and Hilton GVC at Seaworld for a couple of weeks following, during which we will be meeting up with some English friends who now live in Pittsburgh(go Pirates!!! pirate:It seems like you don't get many Pirate fans from the UK:cool1:)

We are looking forward to being on board an old friend and meeting some new friends:yay:.
I see there is at least one group from Europe, any others?
However we have a couple of questions.
Is there any way to identify each other during the trip, and has there been anything arranged for any kind of get together?

Hope you all have a wonderful and prosperous New Year.
Dave and Jane

Coming from someone who grew up in Pittsburgh, I can tell you there aren't many Pirate fans their, either. I think most people have written them off since they haven't had a winning season in nearly two decades. Depending on how the Steelers do in the playoffs, you might be able to watch them on the ship in the Super Bowl (if you like American Football).

Welcome aboard and hope you guys have a great time

Many thanks for the warm welcome.
All being well we'll be bringing our terrible towel and rooting for the Steelers :yay:as we leave Key West!

We are in cabin 6134. Am trying to get my act together...I'm counting down the days until we're cruisin' again!

Wow, I didn't realize the Superbowl was on during our cruise until someone above mentioned it. We will be able to see the game right?

The superbowl will be shown all over the ship. Last year on the Wonder we embarked on superbowl sunday. The game was shown in the bars with appetizers, in the buena vista theater, and my favorite, funnel vision.:cool1: I'm a Vikings fan so I don't have to worry about my team in the big game anytime soon. :confused3

Hoping our team makes it to the Superbowl, if so we will be watching at one of the locations onboard.

GO RAVENS!!!!

Just saw this on slickdeals and thought those of you leaving things to be signed at guest services might be interested. Sharpees for $3 with free shipping!!

Oh and if the Ravens make it to the superbowl that might be the one thing that inspires me to watch it. So that I can BOO as loudly as possible :thumbsup2 Sorry, I'm from Cleveland and still can't take them seriously as a team :rotfl2:

This is our first Disney cruise, it will be my husband, myself and 2 daughters, ages 10 and 7. How do we get included in the FE?
Just registered for this forum as someone mentioned it on Cruise Critic so still navigating through the uncharted waters
