I wonder how it feels to have a bday only once every 4 years? A friend of mine's mom was born on Leap Day. She says she always celebrated March 1st as her bday until Leap Day rolled around. Well, up until she was about 20. She said after that, she only celebrated every 4 years.;) Next year she'll be 56 in normal years, but only 29 in Leap Day years.;)

Everyone asks me if I feel cheated because my bday is the day after Christmas, and I really don't feel cheated. I wonder if people born on Leap Day feel cheated though.

twins who were born on 2/29. One celebrated on 2/28 and one celebrated on 3/1 LOL!

I was born on Feb 28th and now that I'm approaching 46, yikes, I would love to have it every four years.

Wouldn't that make her 14 in Leap Years?? (56 divided by 4 = 14?)

Ds #3 was born 2/28 at 8:05pm on a Leap year. I was induced and we could have had him on the 29th but I didnt want him to have an actual b-day only once every 4 yrs. I personally would feel a little cheated. Oh and I was induced because I was overdue not because I wanted to miss the 29th.

My SIL's birthday is 2/29. She'll be "8" years old in 2004.:D

I was born on February 29th. I will be turning 10 and 9 months this year. I try to celebrate on both Feb 28 and March 1. Sometimes I do feel a little cheated, I always say there is a special minute between 2/28 and 3/1 that I turn older. I'll have a real birthday next year - maybe I'll get something special..... We'll have to wait and see.

The way she counts it, she counts every year she celebrated up until age 20, then only every 4 years after that.:) She said she didn't want her dh to think she was too young for him.;)
