February 27, 2010 Eastern Cruise on the Magic

T-shirts with our logo on it would be neat~ everytime we wear it we will be reminded of our magical cruise! :wizard:
But its really up to whoever wants to manage it. I imagine buttons would be easier but not many people would do anything with it after the cruise. T-shirts can be used over and over again.
What does everyone else think? :confused3

scrapycruiser---i am updating info for cowgirl0524/supernervouserie. They are also spending 2 nights prior at POP Century and have 2nd seating for dinner.

Have a magical day, everyone!!!
:sail:

Thanks for the update,Amy !

My only concern about the t-shirts is the upfront cost for whoever orders them.Otherwise I'm all for it.:)

I was checking out some sites last night. Looks like the t-shirts will run about $15. 3 1/2 " buttons, $3.29 . One site had other things that could be personalized, ie, 16 oz travel mugs, red or black or yellow etc $2.38. They can do logos but not sure if that is included in that price.

Does anyone want to take on this project ? Wonder how other roll-call groups handle this ??:confused3

Hey there!
We would rather order something smaller to use (ie: cheaper) than the tee shirt since we are using all our extra money to actually pay for the cruise. However, if everyone else is up for the tee's then don't let us stop you.

Seems like I'm always talking to myself !:rotfl2:

I had to change my avatar...my "babies"...Casey & Molly ! What do empty nesters do when their kids move away? They buy dogs !!!

TIP for the DAY

Bring sticky note pad to leave cabinmates and cabin host notes. OR, get small dry erase board, if magnetic put on your door.

Bring extension cord for multiple plug-ins.:grouphug:

Staying at Hyatt precruise ?
Someone posted that they were there 2 wks ago, and not only could they check-in for the cruise at airport, but they were given their KTTW cards and a lanyard and a boarding #. 6 I think they said. They said their luggage was picked up from their hotel room at 8:30 am, 1st bus left airport at 9:30am and they rcv'd their luggage around 3:00pm.:yay:

I agree..... cheaper is good I would like to get the buttons but thats just my opinion. T-shirts good too:confused3:confused3 cups also sound good. that is something we could continue to use after the cruise and everytime remember the wonderful people we met and the great memories we made.

if someone took this on my feeling is that whoever wants to order for their family would pm the organizer to get mailing info and have to mail a money order and have it be to the organizer by a certain date. at that cutoff the ones that are paid for are ordered. the other thing we have to remember that we now have to pay for suitcases with the airlines so we wouldnt want one person good enough to do this to be stuck trying to get this all to the ship.
maybe buttons would be the smallest lightest and easiest to pack for the orderer. anyone with any ideas of something else small. i know i still have my "what will you celebrate "buttons in with my other disney souvenirs in my disney display area. also a button could be worn on shirt coat whatever we have on except maybe formal not so much. a t shirt we might wear 2 days spread apart and then to the wash. also should there be a small "dis" somewhere on the logo. ill put my thinking cap on sometimes i wake in the middle of the night with an idea.

not asleep yet at least i dont think so hahaha. what about lanyards of our very own design on the card holder part??
these are light easy to pack everyone could wear and we could even use them at home going to the gym etc. even our next vacation. well ill throw that out for opinions. joanne

Lanyards or buttons sounds so cool!
I like the less expensive option, esp. since the Cdn. dollar is always lower than the U.S dollar.
Correct me if I'm wrong but for Canadians I have never found a cheap money order though. I have paid quite a bit for them before. Anyone gotten one lately?

That is awesome that the Hyatt has all those services! Anyone know how often the busses come and go at the Hyatt?
Thanks!

Yes, that is what a recent poster said after she had been there 2 weeks ago !
I asked a DCL rep about this a week ago and she knew nothing about it :confused3
But when we did the DCL Med cruise we were able to check in and rc'v KTTW card and they took care of our luggage ! When we got to the port we waited about 30 min,got our picture taken and boarded the Magic !!

I vote for buttons ! Cheap, easy to pack, something we could wear everyday. If some of us wanted a t-shirt, just print off our logo on to transfer paper then just iron it onto a t-shirt. I will agree to purchase the buttons and collect at our DisMeet.:grouphug:

Are people booking Palo's and if so for what night?? It is getting close to booking stuff and I can hardly wait.
