Can someone post a link for the kids thread? We were talking with DS last night about all the other kids that will be on here and he is super excited!

I tried searching for it, and going through imadjens posts, but couldn't get it to come up?

Dizzi - are you a Mountaineer? I'd picked WVU for my bowl pics. And my school, the original Ohio University (go Bobcats!) won their first bowl this year! Athens was only 45 min from WV...

Emmysdidi - what is a Stukenator? There's gotta be a great story behind that siggy!

When Im doing all our identification etc on cruise website. The port time is shaded and wont let me click on..then states since we are staying at a Disney hotel we can come anytime. Does this sound right? We are first time cruisers and worrying about anything. I went to look for something awesome for Sydney to be delivered cant find much. Also was going to do the pillow to be autographed but I see there are other ideas..what is everyone doing? Is anyone booking Palo and if so whats the $20fee just for a reservation spot or goes towards food? Ive started ordering Minnie clothes for Sydney trying to get something the boys (dh39 and son12) something thats not too Disney that they will wear. Ordering FE today and organizing my gifts..Im hoping MAke a Wish will have someone (Captain) give her a shout out

If you'd like we could share our Cabana with you so you would have access to the private beach. Once on the ship Im to list all the people in our ) Sydney loves Minnie so anything Minnie is fine..she loves attention and that is so nice of you!! We are cabin 1056 unless I work some magic and get a cabin to combine my mom and us 4...

That is very kind of you to offer to share your Cabana. We will try and stop by to say hello but will most likely just play around on the public beach till daughter's naptime.

There wasnt a lot of choice so we sent you 2 Mickey and 2 Minnie water bottles and that Dreamy Light and Memories Package. Hope she enjoys it

BethD-The Stukenator reference is for the other family that we will be traveling with. Their last names are Stuke (pronounced Stewkey). So, one day we were playing around and I said, "You'll be BAAACK" like Arnold in Terminator and then we made a joke about them being the "Stewkenators"

I like nicknames and we have several for each other...we were very lucky to find such a great family to cruise with. Our daughters are best friends and now they are like family to us!

I'm confused about the "come anytime" part. Are you taking a Disney transfer from your hotel? If you are arriving in your own transportation, then you still have to choose an arrival and check-in time. If a specific time is shaded it usually means that that time is full and you have to select another option.
Are all the times shaded, or just your first choice? I wasn't sure what to expect the first time, either. But there are plenty of returning cruisers on here so hopefully we can help you!

The $20 fee for Palo is meant to cover your server's gratuity, as they are not included in the regular tipping pool from the main dining rooms.

As for the shirts, take a look at the Disney store online. They are having a huge sale right now and they have some non-Disney type items. No way my DH would wear anything traditionally "Disney" but he was cool with a grey Jack Skellington t-shirt, and it was only $9.00!

Thank you Nava and family for your generosity!! Sydney will love it Thanks for all the answers I received. About port time,the whole heading is grayed out, we are using Disneys transportation..Make a Wish included that in her WISH along with a limo ride to the airport!!
Im ordering my FE thru Stitchesnbows on Etsy, someone else had said they used her..
So if we went to Palo the food is paid for just not the tip? Where would Sydney go? I hope the cruise will accept her and include her in everything along with her Down syndrome..but she is more alike an 8yr old then different and she is a happy wonderful lil person.. Im sure they will just a lil nervous.
Do you all go to Palo?
Im going to book Sis at Bippidy the nite before at Downtown Disney and shop at the store..cant be that close to Downtown and not go. We fly from Indianapolis at 11 directly to Orlando so well be there by 2!!

My DH went there, My Son went there and Graduated, My DD is there now and although we are Florida Residents, WE live @ 3 minutes from the downtown Campus right now!!! Came back for a bit to help out my DD.



AND WHAT A GAME IT WAS.......
I WAS SOOO PROUD OF THEM!!

They broke the record for breaking the # of records in one game!!! HAHAHA

NO IDEA ABOUT THE CHECKIN FOR YOU AT THIS POINT

i would just call DCL and ask them.

I am sure that DCL employees will treat YOUR Lovely DD great while you take some time for yourself to go to Palo.

This is the way i look at PALO.....

It is $20 to eat DINNER and then i always TIP I usually tip 12 to 15% of qhat i think a meal like this would cost me. normally the 15% and go up or down from there depending on service.

Brunch is $20 as well but tip would be less i think because a typical brunch would cost less out right.
and

Tea is $10 (i think) plus tip which is even less.

I like them in this order

Dinner
Tea
Brunch

You should try one, Tea is the shortest of them all.

Got the link for the kids thread and it worked! I subbed, so will try and get DS on there tomorrow to say "hi" to everyone!

If you're taking Disney transpo from WDW, you don't have a time choice. That is why your options are greyed out. The shuttles leave at I think 1, so you get there around 2?

Which format is it in? If it's in something like AI or PS, can you e-mail me the original file? I have access to the full Adobe package on my work computer, and would love to have the "full" version when working on FE gifts!

Whoa! In my absence this board has grown quite a bit! How exciting! Just checking in to give a shout out to our little cruise family! With the holidays behind us it's time to focus on the cruise. Hooray! We are getting so close I can smell the sunscreen and ocean!
