BAHAHAHAHAHA He's going to be so burnt thinking like that!!! It's the hazy days that kill ya the worst. You think the sun is not out when it really is still coming through those weird clouds and you get scorched!

Ok I got it to work in Netscape. It looks so dark over there.. maybe a storm coming up. The camera right now is stuck on the same image.. I'll have to go look again. I sure hope we have a good beach day at CC.

OMG Moira.. Are we on the same flight? Noooo... where are you located anyway? WE are going to be in the baggage claim at the same time!!!! We are on AMerican too!! This is too cool!!

Yes, Sally!! Can you believe it?? We are really close on the plane too! Dh checked our reservations and we are in row 17! Just 4 rows behind you! We'll get to meet at the airport tomorrow!! And think, this time tomorrow we will be up in the air on our way to Orlando!!

I can't wait for this cruise!! We are all going to have the BEST time!!

Moira.. where are you staying when you get down there? We're an hour away from the port, at the Best Western. I wish we were closer to the port but it's ok I guess.

We are staying at the Motel 6 in Cocoa Beach. It's only about 7 miles from port. I am really praying it isn't a flea bag motel! DH booked it because he got a discount through his work. I was really hoping to be at a hotel with other cruisers from the board, but it looks like we are the only ones staying there. At least I know we are going to be getting a good Waffle House breakfast Saturday morning because our hotel is right next to one!

Are you all staying in Orlando Friday night? You might be better off waiting til you get here to get a bathing suit! We have them all over the place already, even Target and Walmart along with several specialty shops in the malls. If you need any info on one, I'd be happy to help direct you someplace.

We are staying at the Motel 6 in Cocoa Beach. It's only about 7 miles from port. :

when we booked, it seemed the ones around port were expensive, and we figured in at 6pm, hour ride there. it would be 7:30 before we got there, doesn't leave much time between then & 11am when we go to boat... so we took a less expensive airport Inn... & there is so many around, everyone seems to be at a different one...
We'll see everyone Sat (except you Moira, we'll see you Friday )

I'm going to send out my last spreadsheet in a few minutes. I find it hard to believe we won't find each other. This is a truly amazing experience. I am sure some of us will not ever meet again other than this cruise. But, I hope if you see me you'll stop me and introduce yourselves.

Good luck to everyone flying and driving to your destination before us. Weather in CT is going to be unpredictible and some high winds. I'll pray for your safe delivery to Mickey's ship.

No worry here, I'll be walking up to everyone looking for a green mickey tag, or asking them "Are you from the board, DIS board?".. If their not, I am sure i will get an odd look... or ask them "where's your Alien Green Tag?"

Last dumb question. What time does the port open again? I want to drop the family, go return the car, and try to be back before the port opens. Just trying to decide what time I should drop them off with the luggage. Also, can I drop them with all of the luggage? Is there anything that I need to keep with me in case they make it in before me? Will they be able to start checking in without me? I used the word me a lot in this post !

The port opens between 10:00 and 10:30am. If you get there early, the port security will have you line up before the gates open. Yes, you can drop the luggage and the rest of the family off before returning the car. Last year we dropped our luggage off around 10:30, then went into Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach to kill some time. We all then took the rental shuttle back. You need to keep your photo ID (DL). If the rest of your party takes your passport (or other proof of citizenship), they can check everyone in.

Wow! Ours was really cheap. I guess that the discount through dh's work was really worth it. Still hoping that it isn't a flea bag! We figured since it was only one night, we wouldn't be too particular about lodging. At least a queen bed and a place for the girls to sleep! Well, we may all be scattered for tomorrow night, but we'll all be together on Saturday!! Can't wait to meet you all, and yes, Jeff, we will see you tomorrow!

Thanks Melanie!!! I just might check if something is nearby.. we dont have a rental car, so it might not work.. but I'm covered with my suit from last summer.. it fits ok, but damn if the top part isn't too damn big! lol Go figure! I don't care right now.. I'm leaving on a jetplane tomorrow!!!!!! Yippee!!
