Hi everyone... so exciting... only 3 more weeks. Just got our docs... this time different- only one packet for all 3 or us... the last time I had 5 to fill out! Is this the new thing- all our names are listed so I am assuming they are cutting down on paperwork... it is just to exciting!!!!!!

Hi Holli!

Well, DH informed me tonight that we are staying at the Motel 6 and not the Radisson. I don't know why I had that one stuck in my head. I think it is because the last time we drove down to Disney we stayed at a Radisson overnight to break up the journey. He said he could change our ressie as he went for the cheapo and not the quality. I am going to go over the list of the hotels in my passporter and check another site for the descriptions and see if there is one I like better. We just may end up staying at the Radisson for all I know!! I'll post when I know!

Happy Friday! Our TA left a message on the machine today that our docs are waiting for us at AAA. Guess where Norm will be tomorrow everyone??!!! I can't wait to get them in my hands! I went to Target today and bought little bottles of things. That way if there's next to nothing in them at the end of the cruise, I'll toss them!

Keep those emails coming! Our list is up to 188.

Yep, from what I hear, DCL now puts everyone's docs into a single book. Less paper is a good thing . . .

Still no docs here in rainy Canton. The weather service is calling for a winter storm tomorrow. 2-6 inches of snow and ice are possible. Should make for an interesting Super Bowl down at Ford Field in the city.

Who is staying by the airport on Friday night? We are staying at the Marriott. I know of a good ice cream shop nearby that we could have a mini-pre-meet if there are folks staying around the area.

We're staying at the MCO Marriott as well, but we don't get in until late Friday night. I don't think dragging the two girls out would be a good idea. But, maybe, we'll see ya guys around the hotel in the am.

We will also be staying at the Marriott at MCO but do not expect to get in until 11pm. I know I will want to head right to bed. I will work all day and know I will be exhausted. But Thanks for the invite.

We have not received our docs yet and we booked through mouseearvacations.com. I emailed our TA last week to confirm she had our right address since we moved from last year when we booked. I keep looking for that UPS truck. Oh, well, maybe tomorrow.

I really hope that we go to Cozumel and not Costa Maya. From what I read, Costa Maya seems like it is just a tourist trap.

I hope to work out some while on the trip. I have seen some of the pics of the desserts, OMG! Does anyone know the hours of the gym and the locker rooms?

I envy all of you who are going in the night before. On Saturday we have to get up at 4:30 A.M. to catch a 6:15 A.M. flight so If you need a wake up call just open your hotel window and listen for the snoring that will be coming from the friendly skys, that will be us.

It looks hopeful that we are going to Cozomel because last night I went to the DCL website to see if they added changes to our itinerary and I couldn't even find the area that you go to for the itinerary changes. So hopefully the schedules are back to normal.

Well it's a wet and cold day here in Detroit . We are supposed to get a nasty winter storm this afternoon and tonight. They are saying up to 8 inches possible by the start of the Super Bowl tomorrow . . . .

I can't believe we are so close now. I just checked the PC web cam and caught sight of the Magic tied up at the pier. Just think, in 21 days we'll be getting on that ship

Since there might be a chance of a port change, I've started doing some research on Costa Maya (if we change and go to Nassau, we're staying on board). It looks like it costs $3 pp to take a cab into the little village by the port complex. There are a bunch of seaside bars/restuarants that will set you up with chairs if you buy food and drinks. From what I've read the prices are pretty good. If we end up going to Costa Maya, I'm leaning towards a layed back beach day .

We are leaving momentarily to go over to the port and show the boys the ship! May even hang around to wave off today's ship! Then up to Titusville for some yummy broiled rock shrimp! OK, I'll deal with the hurricanes, maybe this living in Florida stuff is OK after all!

I am a little jealous that some of you got your docs and I didn't, however I am VERY excited for you!!!
Things have dried out a bit here.
When does that Mickey ship return? I wil have to put the cam on for sure!!!

We are ALL getting exicted!!!
Hope we go to Cozumel. I wonder if there is any way we can look into restaurants at Costa Maya ahead of time. I DID get in touch with the company that was booking our Cozumel Snuba and the Ruin excursion and asked if they service more than one island, and if so, do they do Copsta Maya. She said yes and that she could hook us up with a tour and a beach break. So.... we will see. It seems, from what I remember, that we will be in Costa Maya for a much shorter legnth of time.

Has anyone used the company Grand Cayman Excursions? They look like they have some great stuff, I'm just hesitant to book with a company without any references. I included a link for one of the tours were thinking about.

We've never used this company. Last time on Grand Cayman, we used Nativeway. This time we're going with Captain Marvins.

The snow should make for an interesting day tomorrow.

It rained all night - I hate my gutters -noisy,noisy,noisy! But I did remember my ear plugs are all packed and ready to go so I snuck to get them and they'll work great on the cruise if I need them!
