Hi everyone!

I'm staying home today again. My DD is getting better, but she still hasn't been able to eat a full meal. And the schools are closed because of the weather, so DS is here too. But I'm not sure I will have as much time to spend on the computer: DS might want to play on it. :wave2:

We are also coming from MN are you coming the day before? I have heard that you don't want to miss Disney World if you haven't ever been there, our kids are younger and think it might be too much.
We are flying to Orlando on Friday the 22nd, leaving Minneapolis at 8am. Staying at Caribbean Beach Resort Friday night and Saturday night, and going to a park (which one? yet to be decided) on Saturday.

Got our info via UPS yesterday. Haven't yet received our Disney Magic Express luggage tags and contacted our TA about that--not sure if I have missed a link here somewhere--was there something I was supposed to do and didn't do in order to receive those? I went through Small World Vacations.

I'm home today, too. I'm using it to catch up on all kinds of work. Getting more done than I would in a normal school day since there are no distractions. I'm planning Dr. Seuss week in my school. Also watching Idol. Can't wait to get out of the snow and cold and into the sun.

Did anybody else see the bit about Castaway Cay on GMA this morning?

Wow! That's sounds great! What a reward for that family! :goodvibes

I finally also received our documents. Glad to have that done. We are just doing the cruise with Disney and then planned other things on our own. Do I need the tags on my bags?? Maybe for when we board the cruise? If I filled out the info on line do I need to do it again on these?

What time are you all getting to the port? Our Hotel has a shuttle and we are able to park our car at the hotel for free for the length of the cruise.

Tabatha, did you schedule any off shore trips? I am not sure what to do with the kids being so young still. Thinking in CC we may just hit the beach however in Nassau, I am not sure right off the beach what there is to do??

[COLOR="Red"]I did for CC. My husband and I are having cabana massages and he is going parasailing. :scared1: Not me. i will be the one lying on the beach w/ a nice cold drink in hand. :rotfl: In Nassau we are just grabbing a cab and heading to Atlantis. Maybe to the aquarium. Kind of just winging that one.

I wish I was 1/2 has organized at this point as you!!!

I have WAY too much time on my hands right now. :surfweb:

Hi everyone,

Wow, what a winter we are having here this year. It took me 3 hours to get home today when it usually takes me about 1 hour. The snow started to come down quite heavily just before 4:00 pm making rush hour a mess. All I could think about was our upcoming trip.

Looking forward to meeting everyone soon!

In our group there's my wonderful Mom (62), husband (37) but turning 38 on the day we board Feb.24th :cake: me (34), son (11), and son (7). Joining us is my aunt, my cousin, her husband and their son (12)

I ordered the stateroom celebration decorations to surprise my husband for his birthday.

I wish I was more organized and ready for the trip like you Tabatha. I hope everything falls into place the next few days. :scared:

We received our documents today also....Yippee. :cool1: :yay:

I only saw one form (in the ticket book) that was a Embark-Departure form, that looked like it is perhaps some type of customs form, has there been more custom forms than this in the past to fill out?

My DD has also been home sick, went back to school today. Really glad the cruise isn't now. Also I've been checking the weather in the Bahamas this week, not so great.

I have to say I'm a bit nervous, excited and anxious. I also worry about traveling with my DD who has severe peanut allergy and is asthmatic. She's a wonderful little traveler, but you know how we parents worry and prepare just in case. Meanwhile, I'm packing a medicine cabinet full..lol The last time we were in DW 2003, before she was diagnosed w/ asthma she had an attack on Main Street. Fortunately I whizzed her back to our room @ the GF and had brought a nebulizer with us. Not sure if I'm packing it this time we have inhalers now but wow was I glad I was prepared. Sorry for ranting just thinking on page, maybe I ought to call the Dr. and see what he says about bringing the machine....think thats what I 'll do, yes, its on the to-do list.

Tabitha you sound so organized, bless you. If you get extremely bored, I think I could use your help here in NJ to get organized and completely packed..(just kidding of course)...lol. Smiles

Believe me, I would help. Give me something to do.

Its sure nice to put names w/ screenames...Smiles. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Getting ready,

Kim, John and Gianna (soon to be 10)

Tabatha,

You seem to have done so much, let's try to find what you haven't done. Did you...

  • Check the menus and decided what your family will be eating every night?
  • Read the Navigators and decided what everyone is going to do and when?
  • Find the nearest Wal-Mart or Target in case you do forget something?
  • Print any maps you might need?

Anything else we could add (beside doing our own work for us?)
Let's keep Tabatha busy!

Hey, I think I finally have the multi quote thing down. It's about time. :goodvibes

So ladies, today has been a semi busy day. I went to the Gym this morning and on the way home I realized :scared1: Oh my gosh, I FORGOT VALENTINES DAY!!!! I can't believe it!!! I never forget holidays, birthdays ANYTHING!!! I am soooo caught up in Mickey, that i almost forgot to get my husband a card and my boys some candy (crap):rolleyes1 . So I ran to Target. Also normally I bake cookies, cupcakes something for my boys school friends. OPPS!!!! Forgot that too. :confused3 I ran to a bakery down the street, grabbed some cute heart cookies, put them in my own individual wrapping (don't forget, I am a cake designer so I have this kind of stuff) wrote on the back of the wrapping- To: so and so From: Jagger To: so and so From: Jaxson :lovestruc teehee, they will all think I slaved over them. :rolleyes1 I sure hope they taste good. ;)

Now while we were at Target, my 4 year old found, in the puzzle section, a 1000 peice Mickey puzzle. So needless to say that will be my project w/ him for the next few hours. He LOVES puzzles. Although we have only tackled a 500 piecer together, this one may be intresting.

I hope you all are having a busy day. See you in 11 days. :yay: :cool1:

I knew we would found something you forgot: it's what you have to do beside the cruise! :lmao: So don't forget to eat, sleep, brush your teeth and celebrate Valentines Day!

teehee:lmao:
Thanks Stephanie!!! See, no one's perfect:idea: :rotfl2:

Now I am working on the 1000 peice puzzle. I think I am in WAYYYYYY over my head!!!:upsidedow

Telemere, I read you posts...being a new cruiser I just didnt have the answer to the bahamas questions. I read elsewhere that you called DCL. Im glad, because I heard they arent easy to fill out.

Only 3 more days of work left here. Every day I go in my co-workers ask me how much longer:goodvibes They also have a waiting list on who goes with me if my hubby decides at the last minute not to go...like that will happen:rotfl2:

Happy Valentine's Day tomorrow!

I'll be back to work tomorrow so I just want to wish you all a Happy Valentines Day! :lovestruc  :cloud9: :grouphug: :flower3:  :love1: :love2: puckerup:

I happen to go on line today just to relook at our rental car and Alamo has a great deal on rental cars from the Orlando airport. If you go to Alamo.com and then click on hot deals you will see Orlando and the deals. If you have a Happenings book you can also use that coupon. We rented a minivan for 7 days for 270.00. Cheaper to keep the car the whole time at the hotel (free parking). Just a quick little tip.

Also has anyone stayed at the Radisson at the Port the night before the trip? Any reviews on that hotel.

Where in the world would I find menus for the cruise? I need to go get a pack of high lighters I think. :)

Happy Valentine's Day to you all. :lovestruc

May there be love in your heart, a smile on your face and...

Oh forget it. I am toooooo excited about the cruise to think of anything poetic!!!!!

Dang Mickey is screwing up my thoughts. :rotfl: :lmao: :cool1:

Anyway, Have a great day. See you in 10 days :dance3:
