Cara and Tabatha, the last night was the most rough I had in three cruises. But you just never know how it's going to be...
Our server was Felipe (from Peru) and Niko (from Croatia)was our assistant. Felipe was the best server we ever had

. Very understanding, no pressure, he even came to our stateroom to bring desserts when Isabelle had an earache and we had to leave early. He worked five years on the Magic before coming to the Wonder last year, so he kept asking us about his former colleagues. We had Bruno in Triton one morning. He seemed like a very good assistant server indeed! The only night we didn't have our server team was on the last night, when there was an opening for first seating. We had Erwin and Astrit but they didn't seem to care much for us. We were happy to be back with Felipe and Niko the last morning!
You know we got stuck with second seating. But I'm the first surprised to say we liked it. We all took a nap in the late afternoon and a snack afterwards (usually a small pizza slice from Pinocchio) and everyone was fine for dinner (except when Isabelle was sick of course

). I felt less rushed and was even hungry, so I enjoyed to meals more, I didn't feel like I was going from one meal to another. Which we found better than on our other cruises by the way. We are seriously thinking about asking for 2nd seating for our upcoming Western! Who would have known?
What did we do... on the first day, we were group 7 aboard, had lunch in Beach Blanket (met Beth on the way). Then we went to the pool (where I met Tabatha and Cara). We also went to the Club. After the meet, it was drill and sail away party

. My kids were disappointed that there were no bubbles anymore (they called the sail away party the bubbles party). Then it was nap time and dinner. Did anyone go to the show? We didn't. The kids left dinner early and went to the Club. DBF and I went to Promenade Lounge for a bit of the Oscars than picked up the kids. After they were in bed, I went back to watch the end of the Oscars.
On Nassau day, we ate breakfast in Triton. We went to the Pirate

Museum in the morning. We found it perfect for the kids: not to long for them, just enough info to read for us. We came back to get a bite on deck 9, then it was time for our excursion to Ardastra Gardens and the city tour. It was okay. A good combo with kids. Then it was nap, show and dinner. I didn't like the performance very much as I thought the performers were shouting in the first three parts. The evening was short as Isabelle was not feeling well.
Castaway Cay was the best! We ate in our stateroom, then went over there after a visit to the health center because we were out of children's Tylenol. We left Mathieu and a grumpy Isabelle at Scuttle's Cove and went to Serenity Bay.

We picked up the kids and ate lunch. After we watched Lilo and Stitch dance and played in the water and the sand. Then it was nap, show and dinner. We were all dressed up for Pirate Night. It was the first time we all went together, which was nice. I'll post pictures later this week. Does anyone have pictures of the helicopter? I would like to see them. After the kids went to bed I saw the second evacuation in Nassau (Beth was there also). I then went to deck 9 to watch the end of the first Pirates movie.
On the day at sea, we went to the Q&A with the officers, the kids ate on deck 9 and we had Palo brunch while the kids went to the Club. I loved the chocolate flan. We then attended the last minutes of the
Castaway Club meet. Unfortunately, we didn't win anything

. After we picked up the kids and did a little shopping, I did the Galley tour (Beth was there also). I always like the behind the scenes activities. Our daily nap came to a quick end when our head server Simone (from Italy) called to tell us we could have early seating. Then it was the show and packing.
Then it was time to say See you real soon...
