February 2011 - who's going? - IT'S FEBRUARY! WAHOO!

Our family is going on President's Weekend for my dad's birthday. I think they'll be there the 18th-21st. I may be there the 19th-21st. We're gonna try the WoC preferred dining for the first time! :yay:

Edit: Staying at Worldmark Anaheim!

**thanks flame girl** i specially like the "?????" --that is perfect since i don't know what days, i just randomly go !! :)

Last minute trip!! Febuary 3-7th! Just decided today!

We just got back a few weeks ago and we didnt have enough so we are going back!!
Just a mommy and me trip- leaving the sister at home with grandma! :cool1:

Looking for a hotel still!

We'll be there from February 9-11 for our daughter's 4th birthday. We had planned on going the week prior to that, but for some reason touringplans.com "says" that Friday the 4th is going to be more crowded than Friday the 11th. I don't know why that would be. I would have thought that the weekend of the 11th would be more crowded because of Valentine's Day. Anyway, we will be staying at my brother-in-law's house because he lives only about 15 minutes away.

We are going!!! :wizard: It is sort of a last minute surprise. My family and I are going on February 10th and getting back on the 13th. We are celebrating my 18th Birthday while we are there :wizard: To make matters incredible, it will be our first time staying at the Grand Californian!! So, I am incredibly excited!!!!!!! :wizard:

DH, son (3), and I will be there Feb 3-7 for my bday! We're staying at PVI. party:

Is there something major going on beginning of Feb? Hotels seem to be a bit pricier than I remember them being in years past at the same time.

We were going to pass this year as we are planning a big anniversary trip to Disney World for next year.... but I found cheap flights with Allegiant Air. We are crossing the border to fly from Kalispell and my parents will meet us in Las Vegas and we will drive down to Anaheim for 3 or 4 days. A bit more travel but definitely worth it to get back to disney this year. We are there Feb. 22-24.

Update!!! We are now staying at GCH for our stay! :)

What an exciting upgrade!

On another note... Has anyone here used Ridemax before? I'm using it for the first time, and wondering when they'll have February up? Since we'll be there over President's Day, I'm anxious to do some touring plans...

I keep hearing about Ridemax but I don't quite understand how it works... can you enlighten me?

It's a program that will help create touring plans for Disneyland. You can choose a date and park and the attractions you want to include, enter start and end times, and build in breaks. Then ridemax will build a touring plan based on their "rules" for park touring. It's definitely recommended for busy times like when we'll be there!

For WDW I used Tour Guide Mike and Touringplans.com and LOVED them, so I haven't used Ridemax before. But TGM doesn't do DL, and I want something more customizable than touringplans.com, so I'm trying something new. I could be building fake itineraries to learn more about how the program works until they post the February dates... which is what I'll probably start doing.

Hmmm... that sounds like a good idea. I've been stressing about how I'm going to fit everything in on each day, maybe this will help. Is there a fee?

You know, I COULD stop being so lazy and look this up myself... but you make so much more sense then the website! :worship:

Yes - there's a fee, but I can't remember what it is. I got the shorter membership, which I'm pretty sure was less than $20.

This morning I'm using touringplans/disneyland and youtube videos to figure out what all the rides are. So far, I can't find much in DCA that my timid five year old will want to ride!

2/11 - 2/13 GCH, sans kids. Annual girls weekend. Cannot wait

My wife and I will be in the Paradise Pier from February 4-6. I promised her if she ever got tickets to the D23 tour of the Disney Studios and Archives we would make a weekend trip out of it. So she did and we will.

Also, born and raised in West Seattle and live in Port Orchard now. May not be the big city, but we can see it from here.
