Hip hooray, my husband just extended our trip a day and a half! now we get to California at noon instead of 9:00 pm and leave a day later.

We will be at HoJo's from Feb 19th - Feb 26th. We will have 4 full days in Disney and 2 days touring Sunny Cali!

I'm at 14 days and counting, and am severely over organized for the trip. Kids are still clueless about our pending trip, as I've got a good cover story as to why we are pulling the kids out of school for 2 weeks. DS 7 is starting to get suspicious, but am rapidly covering my tracks and have got him thoroughly confused at the moment. Can't wait to go visit the mouse again. I feel a road trip coming on!

Wow... how did that happen so fast. Time is FLYING by! Our countdown is one month tomorrow... woohooo!

You must be so excited to surprise the kids! I was almost more excited to pull off the surprise then I am for Disney... almost

I was trying to do a solo trip for the first time Feb 10-13 at Super 8 but, when my youngest DS found out and broke into tears. It has now become the mommy and son trip. We are very excited! I am now getting random hugs and kisses. That is never bad!!

FYI... Miranda Cosgrove (iCarly from Nickelodeon) will be performing at the House of Blues on Feb 24.

Tickets are general admission only.

I have never been to HoB in Anaheim. Think the fact it will be general admission means I should stay away? My DDs are 8 and 11 and could be overwhelmed if the crowd is rowdy? Does HoB have tables on the 2nd level like in WDW? Are they 'available' during concerts?

I am also considering the gospel brunch at HoB on the 20th (but will wait to see if the YES thing comes thru first)

I'm feeling rather guilty about all the lies I've been telling the kids. I'm not known for lying in general, but I've told the kids we are going to Mayne Island to work on our property there for 2 weeks as a plausible excuse for pulling the kids out of school for that long. I've had to spin a story around this, and they are really excited about going to Mayne Island again. They have no clue that we are going to DL, as I've told them that we are going much later in the year. So I'm 12 days to go and as usual over organized for the trip. Just got to clean house, take the bench seat out of the van, stock the house with food for DM and that's about it. Am really looking forward to visiting the mouse again.

Isn't that funny? My family practically grew up on Maine Island. Haven't been there in years though but there are many many memories.

It looks like there are zero parades scheduled for when we will be there....and I have to say that makes me pretty happy.

We seem to always get screwed up by the parades when we're trying to get from point A to point B.
