February 20, 2011 DREAM

Hello everyone! :wave2:

We will be joining you all for the 2/20 cruise aboard the Dream! It's will be me DH, DD(almost 14 at time of cruise) and DS (8). We've been booked since our last cruise in Nov 09 but I am just now starting to get involved with the planning and excitment! Our first cruise was a 3 day cruise so I am looking forward to the extra day at sea. Although I think we were spoiled by having the verandah last time we booked two interior cabins for this trip. I was optimistic in the beginning that we maybe able to upgrade to a verandah when we check in but it looks like we are sailing full. Oh well, we are still on the ship! I will just have to begin taking my motion sickness meds sooner  lol!

Are there any Dis-meets planned? Anyone traveling with 13-14 year old girls, I'm sure my daughter would love to plan a meet and be able to have a friend to buddy up with on the ship :cheer2:

welcome to the group

well the Dis-Meet isn't planned yet, but we were talking about planning one, we should wait till a cruise or two has sail then get feedback as too where the best place to have one would be since no one really knows yet:goodvibes

Where is everyone seeing dinner and show times? I only see late dinner. Help!

welcome prettypixie! No girls here only boys -lol.

We did not book through a TA we found it on the edit our trip page next to the time for dinner. It only shows up on that page. Right now only available times are late dinner and 7pm show and early dinner with 9pm show or at least that is what it is giving us. We are just going to leave it with early dinner as DD gets issues with low blood sugar. Hope everyone is having a good school year.http://www.disboards.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

Thanks everyone for help. I read it on the Disboards but I think I won't be able to change it d/t not being paid in full? We have late seating so the 7p show is cool with us. Both our boys skipped the shows last time and DS#2 basically ditched us for the club during dinner anyway - LOL

Hey I read a post about facebook - how do I join the group?

We are getting closer and closer!!!!!!

Hey all!!! Doing well - working a TON! to pay for this cruise. LOL. Our flight is all paid for so I know we can't cancel like we had to last Feb!!!!

I am also working a ton to pay for this trip. I am working on paying the hotel right now. I guess that is the good thing about health care, there is always more work if you want it. How is the planning going for everyone? We have not done anything in a while. Does anyone have the main dining and 9 pm show like us?http://www.disboards.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

LOL. Planning is good but can't wait until November 22 when I can book Palo or Remy's. We have late dining and the 7p show per my TA. DH and I will probably be watching the shows alone and Dining with only our teenager - and only because he wants to eat as often as he can. DS#2 refuses to leave the clubs and don't fight it anymore. I have planned the pre and post cruise - added more pre days when I booked our flights (Oh Darn! more time at WDW -LOL).

We have early dining with the earliest show, 5pm I think. I guess this will work out ok because our DDs are still young and a 9pm show might be too late for them.

I too am feeling the money crunch, I'm not sure what I was thinking when I booked a week at WDW and B2B cruises! We also have to convert everything from Cdn currency into US, good thing the exchange rate is fairly good right now $104Cdn gets us $100US. It'll all be worth it when we leave the cold and snow behind come February:goodvibes

Good evening all! Just checking in to see what everyone has been up to! We've been so busy with back to school activities, dance, Girl Scouts, and Cub Scouts that we haven't been too focused on our cruise yet! The weather is starting to get cooler and that reminds me that the winter is coming - and our cruise!!! Yeah!
Can't wait to see my ticker countdown!

So feeling your pain! 3 nights at BLT, the Dream and 3 nights at AKV although using DVC points for the WDW still have to pay for food, etc and paying off the Dream this week - It always looks good during the planning :goodvibes

Hate NE weather - LOL. This rain could go. Between work and Pop Warner, Lacrosse and Basketball tryouts, homework, my head is spinning!

Great we will know someone. Tough night over hear my two sailing buddies were in a car accident. They seem ok right now so we are lucky. Bruised and shaken. Car totaled. Reminder of how quickly things can change. See you all soon.http://www.wdwinfo.com/images/smilies/thumbsup2.gif

My thoughts and prayers are for your friends. I hope they are okay. So true about life changing. Thinking of ya!

Everyone have a wonderful day.

Just bought the Beauty and Beast Blueray yesterday! It was so beautiful. Watched it by myself - LOL. Have a magical day.
