Hey, hope everyone is great. I'm getting more and more excited about this cruise the closer it gets

We just got bumped from our seats on the flights. Now we are all scattered around the plane. What is with that? We were told the flight is sold out and tuff? We had seats together how can they do that? Next time I will wait and fly SWA. http://www.wdwinfo.com/images/smilies/confused24.gif

What a bummer I would be pretty angry too. Who were you flying with?? Maybe you can try to plea with a higher up and see if that gets you anywhere. Regardless forget about the flight and think of the postive that you'll be sailing on the beautiful Disney Dream

Thanks pleading got me no where I was told we are given a seat only not together we are flying d..ta. Well I guess the good news is the 10 year old now is sitting with her grandmother and I am 6 rows away. not perfect but at least she is not by herself now. we cant wait. We made a few adr for wdw pre post cruise at our favorite places chef mickey, pooh and stitch breakfast. we did do the quick service dining plan which we have never tried. So I will pay for the additional meals. We want to figure out where to use all those snack credits to bring stuff to her db. In all the times we went we never realized you can use them in gift shops, to buy candy, cookies and stuff like that. We just got in the mail some disney gift cards. Trying to see if we can use those so i dont have to worry about carrying money and change. Of course I agreed to let dd to penny squisher around. I mistakenly told her as many as she could find. http://www.wdwinfo.com/images/smilies/scared07.gif I did not know there were so many there.
So anyway thank you for reminding me to look at the positive. We are going away and it will be here soon.
ps how are the girls doing in school. I see the girls are still emailing each other and I think that is great.

School is going great but very busy. I never realized how much more work 5th grade would be compared to 4th grade. The emailing with new cruise friends is going good but may slow down because of school/soccer and play practice but they will do their best to keep in touch

I know it's kinda early to think about, but does anyone have plans yet for doing the parks while they are there. We will definitely be doing some before and after our cruise, we will probably travel on Thursday before the cruise to get some park time in on Friday and Saturday.

Hi All. My DW and I will be on this cruise also. My DD Maine_Jennifer has already posted that she will be on the cruise with 2 of our grandchirdren. And yes DW and I will be doing the parks before and after the cruise. I have vacation time from 14 February to 2 March and will be retiring on 1 March. 14 to 19 Feb we are at POP. 19 February we will be meeting up with our DD and Grandchildren at Boardwalk, Cruise on 20th, AK KV 24 to 26 with DD and Grandchildren, Back to POP 26 Feb to 2 March. You might say that I am going out in style. We are not new to DCL. Last cruise was EB Panama Cruise 2008. Really looking forward to this cruise and the Slide and our Alaska Cruise 23 August.

OMG!!! I almost booked that airline. Eventhough I am confused about Southwest, I guess I'm glad I did it -wish jetblue was cheaper.

We keep checking the airlines with no luck. We now know if you book get a seat at least past row 18 that way if they change planes you still have a seat. DD is still upset that she is in the back by herself and I don't blame her. On the upside, the trip will be here soon. We are OKW pre cruise and BLT post cruise. We can't wait. Trying to think of ideas to get DD for Christmas that would relate to trip. No ideas yet. Welcome to the new posters.

jblrn2b you are my lucky charm. I just checked again after your comment as we do everyday and luck should have it 3 seats just showed up on the website. I quickly jumped on the seats and switched mine. DD will be so happy. She can't see as we are over a wing but I would rather that then the alternative having her all alone. YEAH. Going down when we are, the air fairs were much better than for what it was going to cost to fly down just before the cruise and for a couple of days after the cruise. For a couple hundred dollers more we were able to add 5 days before and 4 beyone what we had planned after the cruise. Our annual passes this year have really paid for themselves.

Yeah we are going down a few days early d/t the cost of flight but can't take DS#1 out of school too much d/t his being a Jr. in HS this year. I only am taking him out of school for 1 1/2 days - my kids never miss school unless they are profusely bleeding or fever they go to school so I don't feel bad about the 1 1/2 days. My littlest is in 5th grade he should be ok.

I have no input since that's not the way it works on the Magic and Wonder. All new so guess we will wait and see
