Should I assume that the cabin number which is listed on the Disney site is the one that I have been assigned? I was SOOO hoping for an upgrade! Is is still possible that they may change this? I purchased my reservation through an online travel company, rather than Disney itself. I wonder if that has anything to do with it...just wondering. Thanks, Jen

You can keep hoping...I have heard of people getting upgraded as they board. I don't think it matters if you book with Disney, or a TA.

I live in New York because...

David is conviced that our house is in a snowbelt! 3 streets in any direction and there is no snow! But for us get the snowblower out! (although not bad this year) Global warming yikes! I better trade in my Explorer for something more fuel effecient (does thing has spell check?)

My kids did me the favor of getting sick on the same day last week - only one Dr. trip! Then they thought that they would actually share and now I'm sick!!

I don't care who sees me in a bathing suit!! Give me some warm weather!

My party will travel...I packed pitchers too! why stop with one glass when there are so many friends around!

After a few drinks with Glory Anne, I really will not care either who will see me in a bathing suit. The temperature is dropping here, and we should get another 4" of snow..... As long as we have great weather in 3 weeks I am OK with it.

Maybe we should plan an adult meet by the adult pool at some time . I can see my margarita now...mmmm. Maybe we can pick a time once we get on board?? Sunday is a sea day! Oh goodie, so is Monday!!

We have had the nasty cold and flu go thru the house last week. Here's hoping that we are all done with that, so we can all enjoy the trip. Less than three weeks and we are out of here...

Great info on pre cruise shipping stuff. I think we have decide to buy are beverages when we get to Florida... figure it may be too much of a hassle for us to ship from here to the states.

We are buying our stuff in FL too. Water, etc at the Walmart near the port if needed. We'll be at Universal a few days, so we will stock up on sunscreen, water and snackies on the way there.

Yes, it is us, but you don't have to wear the lime green, just put something lime green on your person. I have some of the AIlen Green Mickey head paint chips from Home Depot, and I am just going to stick one on my lanyard. I think we'll find each other.
Maybe I'll make a small sign that says "DIS group meet" for our first meeting. Do you all think that is too corny?? Any other ideas??

I went to home depot and got my first (8) lime green Mickey's. I felt like people were looking at me. I walked around until I found something to buy. I know they are free...... I'll have to go back with my kids and get some more before the cruise. The adult meeting on Sunday sounds great. Although we have a spa thing at 11:00-11:50.
My son is 9 and I haven't decided if we are going to allow him to sign himself in/out. Last time we comprised by giving him a two-way radio to call us if he wanted to leave. What is everyone else doing??

We may let DS10 sign himself out if he is with someone and we know where he's going ahead of time. (Like if he says he'll be at the club from this time to this time, then is going to a movie with (fill in a name), then back to the room at this time.) We also leave a noteboard in the room, so everyone can leave message where they are.)

I know how you feel I collect one or two every time I go! But I think there is a lurking DISer who is not on this thread, because many times when I go, there are none. I don't think THAT many people paint a room Alien green...

I can look through the navigators to see when Martini tastings are (isn't there a Margarita tasting too?) and if it is good for the majority of us, we could all sign up to do that as an adult gathering.

Here are the days/times for tasting events. Even though I'd love to do the Margarita & Tequila tasting, I'll be in the spa at that time. Anyone want to meet for the first wine tasting? I'll probably talk Ed into doing that one. The wines at the first and second tastings are different (just in case you'd like to know that).

Sunday - 2 PM Wine tasting

Sunday - 4 PM Martini tasting

Monday - 3 PM Beer tasting

Monday - 4 PM Margarita and Tequila Tasting

Thursday - 2 PM Stem to Stern Wine Tasting

Thursday - 2:30 Martini Tasting

Thursday - 4:00 Beer Tasting
