WAAAAKKKKKEEEEEE UPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!

HELLO -- W A K E UP NOW!!!

It's almost time for CC members!

Just getting home from the LSU game -- great come from behind win in OT (we didn't deserve to win) -- I figure what's 40 more minutes to wait to begin my sleep.

Congrats on the win!

uggh! I am up too. Sick as a dog... Oh well, I figured I may as well do some reserving. 3:00 sharp, and NO PALO! :furious: :confused3   AT ALL! I think they forgot to put in the available times. I guess I'll try on board.
I was able to reserve our excursions (Capt. Nautica and Parasailing on CC) :yay: , as well as my stone massage for a sea day. I guess I'll try Palo on board... The only problem is now I am awake after going to bed early...
Did anyone else have better luck with Palo?

Well I tried, I was up anyways, and got the dreaded Palo message all times are booked I am slightly annoyed, and that is putting it mildly, it was 3:01 a.m. when that happened, I have now been trying for 50 minutes, and nothing, it also seem that some excursions are not showing up........
here is what I get for not slleping in on a Sunday.
Any luck Lisa?
I also wrote a first message to this group and timed out it never posted

Sue, we can suffer together, this is really annoying.......

I know how you feel! I guess I'll see you on board when we try ot make ressies. There must be a glitch. I can't imagine that cat 1-3 took ALL the Palo ressies for the entire trip. Hopefully some will open up at the 75 day mark...
I also noticed that some of the excursions weren't coming up. I think it may be because it was on St. John, and there weren't any that fit in with our other one.??

I just wished there was someone we can talk to......

It is now 3:54 AM Central time and still no Palo. I sent an email to them on the "contact us" link saying they forgot to turn on the Palo ressies.

UGHHHHHHH

Hey -- we're doing the 10:30 parasail. What time is yours?

I did book our Spa Villa Couples Massage (hot stone) for Day 3 - 2:30 - 4:40.

Now, the site is DOWN! 4:02 AM

This is killing me!

Site is back up at 4:31 and still no Palo!

7:00 Still no Palo, but I actually feel better! I guess the 3:00AM adrenaline rush helped clear my head a bit.

Lisa- I booked 2 parasailing excursions because I forgot to ask my kids what time they want. 10:30 and 3:30. I'll cancel one as soon as I know their preference. I am almost wondering if 3:30 may work better. That way, the day will be almost over anyway and we may be ready to leave the beach. Do you know if there are supposed better times to go?

I also booked Capt. Nautica for St. Thomas/St. John. 7:40 departure time. I figure we'll be up because of customs, we may as well get going :goodvibes . We'll be back at 12:00, so I think we may try the arial tram after lunch.

I also booked my stone massage for Tuesday at 2:00. DH is not interested (silly man!!), so I'll be all alone.

I'll try for Palo on board if nothing shows up. I know we won't go hungry if we can't do brunch. We weren't planning on dinner because that is one of the few "we all go as a family-no exceptions" part of the trip.

Last February (2006), we booked the 10:30 parasailing and were LUCKY. There were only two excursions (parasailing) that went out all day because of an engine problem on the 2nd boat.

We've always (this will be our fourth time) booked the 10:30 slot and haven't been sorry.

This is an email I just sent to dcl.guest.communications@disneycruise.com regarding the Palo snafu this morning:

I am writing to you today to discuss the lack of Palo reservations in the
system when I logged on before 3 AM Central Time for online reservations at
my 90-day mark before embarkation. Excursions and spa appointments were
available to book however Palo reservations were never activated. I have
been awake continually and still no Palo reservations have been made
available.

I had hoped to make a brunch reservation on Sunday, February 18, 2007 and a
dinner reservation on Wednesday, February 21, 2007.

It dismays me that I've been awake overnight only to be disappointed that
not a single reservation is available at the 90-day mark for Castaway Club
members or that an error exists in the website computer coding that did not
allow the reservations to be activated.

There have been several other club members that have been unable to access
the Palo reservations as well therefore eliminating the possibility that it
was an error only on my two reservations (xxxxxxxx and xxxxxxxx).

At this point, I would hate to see that the reservations would be opened up
online at a random, unannounced time. For those who waited overnight to
acquire coveted Palo reservations, it would seem unfair.

I respectfully ask for you to research the problem and let me know of the
outcome.

Sincerely,
Lisa ****

Well put!

I'll be on the phone in 18 minutes to Disney complaining that the online ressies were not available.

Get those dialing fingers ready!

the Disney site is now too busy to retrieve my information

Hi-
I just sent an e-mail too. I basically said the same thing you said Lisa. I added that it should not be listed as a perk for CC members if it is actually not available.
I also took the on-line survey and repeated the issue...
Good luck with your call. What # are you calling? DCL or Castaway Club? Be sure to post their response!

I also sent an e-mail this morning, I am actually not sure to which address probably the same one you used, it certainlly was not as coherent as yours Lisa.....

I'm on hold now -- 1-800-951-3532.

The CM is assuming it is an Information Technology problem and IT doesn't work on Sundays.

I will make my case clear!

I'll update as soon as I'm off the phone. I'm posting here first and then in Sue's thread on the cruise board.

8:06 - she just checked back and said they are still checking on it.

8:09 - still holding . . . listening to their wonderful music trying to cheer me up from my mood and no sleep.

8:11 - still holding -- no check back to be sure I'm alive. Anyone else on hold once you talked to the CM?

8:19 - I spoke to Faith. She said it is a server-type problem and they couldn't even access the ressie page. She has said she will call me as soon as the system is up to reserve my times. I did give her my requested dates and times.

She also said that they sent out a "broadcast" to all the CMs that the system is unavailable for Palo ressies right now and that they will all get a "broadcast" when it comes back up.

I'll post to let you know when I get my phone call.

I am also on the phone..

The first CM checked the reservation site and said she agreed that it makes no sense and transferred me to a supervisor.

I am still on hold. I wonder which one of you s/he's talking to right now? :teeth:

OK, I am off the phone. The CM was very sympathetic. She took my telephone number, gave me the name of her supervisor (Constance), and told me the supervisor was researching it and will call me back ASAP. We shall see...
